Amazing still playing it as of today cant get enough
太难了
I played for a while, it is not great. Then I tried to pick it up again and it did not save my progress at all.
If you are a fan of LOTR at all, grab this game immediately, especially if it is on sale. While the story is a little disjointed so far (I did not play the 1st game in this series so that might be the problem), it is still thrilling to be so immersed in the Lord of the Rings world, especially via such an interesting new narrative. I could easily see myself playing this game for another 200 hours. The combat has a learning curve, but once you get into the flow of things and unlock some additional skills, it becomes quite exciting and addictive. I just rode my first beast and recently unlocked the second realm. Can't wait to find the time to play some more!
fails to start 90% of the time on new hardware.

amazing
"My song! Where's my song?!"
"I can siiiing!"
Peak experience

Early in the game I stumbled across an orc bard — fights with a lute, talks in verse. Sliced him to pieces and forgot about him. He came back. "Cheated death" — stitches on the arm I'd lopped off, skin covered in sores. He hunted me across regions. Every time he beat me, he never killed me — just humiliated me. No other orc ever did that. And the whole time, he kept singing. His power grew fast. Went from bard-trickster to wielding a cursed weapon, then a necromancer soon after. A genuinely phenomenal stat pool. I tried to recruit him — no luck, "Iron Will." So I broke his mind again and again through humiliation until the iron will finally wore away. He didn't go mad like the others ("deranged" or "maniac" — he had neither) — he broke off-script with a scream:
"My song! Where's my song?!"
Finally, I made him mine (but at what cost?). Before a fight now, he only howls out a pained
"I can siiiing!"
— but mid-battle, he's still singing something.
Peak experience
