Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) 40th Anniversary Edition

When downloading the game on steam it doesn't actually download the whole game, it only downloads a few GB then says it's ready to play. When you then launch the game it says it needs to download an update and that's when it actually starts downloading the remaining 150GB of the game while Steam counts it as play time. after about 48min of downloading it crashed and lost all download progress... so i requested a refund. Don't bother. download time should not be counted as play time!

I created a Microsoft account only to play this game, I never used that account for anything else and in less than 24h the account was blocked for "activity that goes against the Microsoft Services Agreement". Is playing your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game against Microsoft Services Agreement? Now I am block in a loop at the cappcha stage when it tells me to retry although I complete it, I just wanted to fly planes, not doing 3 hours of account management online because of Microsoft paranoia!

Worst installer ever, I have 30 hours in this game and still at the installation part .

downloaded 162GB for 3,4 hours got to 70% complete in that time and suddenly it dropped to 55% and before it was an average of 70-80mb/s download speed and it dropped to barely 4mb/s, i got annoyed closed it and tryed again and this time the game wouldnt launch. I dont understand what this games problem is EVERY other game i have downloads within 1hour from 80gb to 90gb yes a jump to 160gb is big but still it barely moved and it even move backwards. do not waste youre money on this because you have to download THE ACTUAL GAME INSIDE OF THE GAME this way you get playtime and cannot refund, utter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Поставил режим игры везде сложно. Сижу пятый час читаю руководство летной эксплуатации. Все нравиться , десять сгоревших предохранителей из десяти.

It's frustrating that it only updates when I open the game. Would be great if it updated in the background because updates can take significant time to upload.

Really great graphics - physics might be a bit exaggerated but still a solid 9/10 game

F*CK MICROSOFT WORST INSTALLER EVER - I HAVENT EVEN PLAYED THE GAME YET! WHEN I LAUNCH THE GAME A WINDOW POPS UP THAT FORCES ME TO SIGN INTO MY XBOX ACCOUNT EXCEPT THE BUTTON DOESENT EVEN WORK AND I CANT LOG IN NO MATTER HOW HARD I TRY. BECAUSE OF THIS IM STUCK ON THE LOADING SCREEN AND CANNOT PROGRESS. I LOGGED IN AND OUT OF MY XBOX ACCOUNT USING THE APP MULTIPLE TIMES AND ON MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS AND IT STILL DIDNT WORK. I THEN UNINSTALLED THE GAME AND TRIED TO REINSTALL IT ONLY TO BE FACED WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. FINALLY, I LOGGED OUT OF BOTH WINDOWS STORE AND XBOX STORE AND UNINSTALLED GAMING SERVICES ONLY FOR THAT TO NOT WORK EITHER. TO MAKE THINGS WORSE, YOU CANT DOWNLOAD THE GAME FULLY ON STEAM BUT INSTEAD ITS DOWNLOADED ON THE APP ITSELF SO YOU CANT EVEN REFUND THE GAME AS YOU WILL EXCEED 2 HOURS OF PLAYTIME. F*CK MICROSOFT. BILL GATES IS GENUINELY ONE OF THE WORST HUMANS TO EVER LIVE. EDIT (FIX) -Uninstall from Steam -Delete C:\Users\<your user>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 -Delete <Steam Install Directory>\steamapps\common\MSFS2024 -Close Steam -Connect to a VPN -Reinstall from Steam (disabled Steam’s cloud sync during installation) -Launch the game and login

Took me 3 hours to install it so bye bye goes my money if i do not like the game wee bit of a let down for me
