About
Build. Automate. Dominate the Chip Market.
The year is 2047. A decade after the Great Chip Drought collapsed the semiconductor industry, mega-corporations lie in ruins. From the ashes, a new breed of manufacturer has emerged:
the μFabbers — small, agile micro-fabricatorswielding cutting-edge nano-manufacturing technology.
You are one of them.
Build your chip fabrication empire from the ground up. Design intricate production lines, unlock advanced technologies, and scale from simple processors to legendary quantum chips worth fortunes. But beware — Helena Voss and her Voss Dynamics mega-corp are watching, waiting to crush any μFab that threatens their monopoly.

Features
Deep Factory Automation
Design sprawling production lines across 3 factory floors — plus secret dimensions
Route materials with conveyor belts, splitters, sorters, lifts, and throwing belts
Manage defect rates, optimize throughput, and exploit the black market
Watch your factory come alive with satisfying visual feedback

Complex Chip Manufacturing
Process silicon wafers through multiple stages: etching, chemical treatment, ion implantation, and EUV lithography
Create 13 chip tiers — from basic X1000 processors to legendary DC4000 Dual Cores.
Master L4 production paths: dice wafers into mini chips for quantity, or fuse cores for maximum value
Manage the delicate balance between speed and quality — too many defects and your wafers shatter

I've not had this much fun since I use to play Satisfactory. Note the hours played is less than what steam is showing. I've not even begun to scratch the surface as I am only at T5. The challenges of working in a limited space, then optimizing, then rearranging when new features are enabled.
While I like the concept the execution leaves a lot to be desired. First thing first, if you have a large monitor you can either pick between larger text but a UI that does not know what to do, or very small text - Much of the text is also on colors that makes it even harder to read, research is especially bad here. Constant pressure to earn more money via increasing rent price, while the products you sell are worth less via saturation. - Forcing the player to make new and better chips is OK, but after the tutorial there isn't much clarity as to "how" to make the next gen chip, leading to a death spiral Constantly having to purchase more resources, barely scraping by. It just gets stressing without adding anything to the actual gameplay.
this game is very very cool, now I cannot read after my stroke so tuf for me, but dang I am loving this type for sure. So yeah this game is really fun even if I slow, I love it to just work on the game, and I love that type :-)
I'm only a few hours in and I'm already kinda hooked... Asides from a few minor bugs this is a really fun production line game! Similar to games like Automachef but with a really sick UI and a cool premise Don't know whether to love or fear the complexity that comes my way as I delve deeper into this game
A factory optimisation/ puzzle game, with a surprising level of depth given the low price. With with this type of game I can sometimes be overwhelmed by the number of options immediately available, and struggle to find myself a goal to progress towards. I found Microfab really shines in these areas. There always seems to be an interesting technological hook or new production style to progress towards, and working out the optimal path is enough of a puzzle enough to make you feel clever without stalling progress for too long. So far I'd recommend this game for fans of the genre who want a lighter, easy to jump into game that doesn't sacrifice depth.
actually quite good. controls sometimes a bit clunky but overall fun
