This is one of the most atmospheric and original games I have played. A truly excellent turn-based strategy game. Really beautiful graphigs, the soundscape is captivating. A few bugs here and there (the Mind Worm power always throws me out of the game, and there are a few graphical glitches with Mason´s shooting animation), but still it´s better than most games that are published. More games like this, please!
The stealth scouting and sniper takedowns make encounters feel satisfying before turn-based combat even starts, and it captures a lot of what I liked about Mutant Year Zero. Story scenes can be frequent, but they’re easy to skip if you just want to get back to the tactics.
