very fun. if you like persona you will probalby like this game.
20 DE 10, CINE Y GOD El mejor juego de Atlus y mi juego favorito
I didn't know what the main guy's name was so i named him john metaphor
im glad they made this game, and im glad that i bought it now since i needed a game that i will spend 100+ hours rn like i did with the other persona games, anyways... play it. its just peak
The game is needlessly longwinded in the dialogue department, mechanics are overexplained, and has maybe the most boring set of main cast characters in an Atlus game yet. I couldn't bring myself to care about any of their troubles in any of the social links, and what was/might have been interesting about any number of them felt surface-level engaging at best and was resolved quickly. Louis is pretty cool in that he's a relatable villain, so much so that he, on more than a few occasions, makes some pretty sound points for his motives… if you're a reined-in, law abiding psychopath like me, haha. That said about the main cast, the combat can be a heap of fun, even if the dungeons, as stated by other reviewers, are a bit redundant. Speaking of combat, here's (at least one way) how to trivialize the endgame bosses and super bosses! [[[ S P O I L E R A L E R T ]]] Raise Alonzo's bond to Rank 7. Buy at least 3 Utilitarian's Manual from Gloamhall magic shop and equip onto Heismay, Junah, and Strohl. The Util. Manual will reduce the turn Icon cost of Synthesis skills from two to one. Use the synthesis skills for these characters in this order: 1. Heismay- Gunner Archetype [Mania Bullet] inflict a 1-time weakness to Slash/Pierce/Strike attacks. 2. Junah- Royal Dancer Archetype [Masquerade Charge] greatly increases the party's physical attack. 3. Protag- Prince Archetype [Hero’s Cry] add 4 turn icons to the entire team once per battle (or skip turn) 4. Strohl- Royal Warrior Archetype [Peerless Stonecleaver] does severe physical Slash damage to one enemy. Repeat order if necessary. (Optional strat: Get the Magic Link passive for your characters, or for at least Strohl, in the Elemental Master Archetype to half the MP cost of synthesis attacks.) At that point it's basically GG. Enjoy as Strohl pops off for anywhere between 15,000 - 40,000 HP per hit, basically one-shotting most enemies (depending on his stats/equipment/enemy type). The game ran pretty well, or at least stable, on my system at 2k resolution the entire time. It might have crashed maybe, idk, once or twice in 100+ hours? But that's kind of to be expected from just about any game, so no real worries there. Oh, and the music is pretty good, too, I guess. The chanting gets a little grating on the ears after a while, though.
Fantasy Persona that is better than persona (music is peak)
