A hilariously terrifying adventure filled with laughs, blood, insanity, and of course... hordes of the undead.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
Metal Dead — 5.1h played | 13/13 achievements | South Park vibes + zombies + trash humor = guilty pleasure done right

TL;DR — Hand-drawn point & click with twisted humor, heavy metal attitude, zombies everywhere, and that “I can’t believe they went there” energy. Breaks the 4th wall, stays fun, and lands its punchlines.
Metal Dead is the kind of game that looks like it was drawn during a caffeine overdose in a South Park fan club… and somehow it works. It’s a hand-drawn point & click in a zombie apocalypse, but the real “combat system” here is the humor: trashy, dark, stupid in the best way, and proudly unhinged. If you don’t like twisted jokes, you’ll bounce. If you do? You’ll grin like an idiot the whole way. You’re basically following a bunch of characters trying to survive the end of the world with the emotional maturity of a drunk metalhead (compliment). The writing doesn’t try to be classy. It tries to be funny, and it often succeeds—especially when it breaks the fourth wall and starts winking at you like “yeah, we know this is absurd, come on.” The zombie setting is just the playground: the game uses it to throw situations, gags, and weird moments at you non-stop. Gameplay-wise, it’s classic point & click: explore, click, combine stuff, solve puzzles. Nothing revolutionary, but it’s paced well enough that you keep moving. Some moments are a bit “trial and error,” but the game doesn’t pretend to be a brain-melter anyway—it’s here to entertain you, not to make you write a walkthrough. Visually it’s very specific: that rough, hand-drawn, cutout style won’t be everyone’s taste, but it fits the tone perfectly. And the soundtrack? Honestly one of the highlights: it supports the heavy metal / chaos energy and keeps the vibe strong from start to finish. And yes… that shark moment. If you know, you know. Bottom line: if you want zombies + heavy metal + twisted humor with a South Park-ish aesthetic, Metal Dead is a solid recommend. Not a technical masterpiece, but a damn fun ride. Quick "Buy if" list: -Like point and click adventure games. -Have about 3 hours to spend on a PnC game. -Can overlook "meh" audio in favor of solid writing and excellent puzzles. For more details, read below, but if the above sounds fine with you, then go ahead and buy this game. It's not expensive, but you should probably wait for a sale considering how short it is. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Jawbone's 6-Point Review: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1.--Art: The art is probably a make or break for some people. Yes, it's not the best, but despite the simplistic style, there's plenty of detail. Even better, it's well done enough it doesn't make you play "hunt the pixel" when interacting with your environment. The art kind of grows on you as well. Mind frame it like an early 90's Lucasarts or Newgrounds flash game, and you'll be fine. 2.--Puzzles: The real reason I'm suggesting this game. Puzzles walk the balance of making you think without being illogical. The game is excellent in giving you context so you have a rough idea on what your task is. 3.--Backtracking? Yes and no. The best part is that if you're done with an area, the game will tell you so and you won't have to waste your time combing over areas that are complete. 4.--Difficulty: You may have to stop and think for a few puzzles, but nothing should bog you down severely. There is a hint helper with no penalty if you need a hand though. 5.--The Writing: The game relies heavily on the dialogue, and thankfully, this is where this game shines. The characters handle the apocalypse in their own way, it's fun to try and combine items that won't work with other items, and the descriptions are good. I wouldn't call this game "hilarious," but there was a solid chuckle here and there. 6.--Twist Ending: I sure as hell didn't see it coming. You won't see it coming either. It could be considered weirdness for weirdness's sake, but it gets a pass for bucking the trope and actually making it work...enough.
Solid point and click game for a couple bucks. Enjoyed it the whole way through. Would play the sequel.
