Slip into the role of Daniel Hanson, commander of the first mission to a remote planet called Meridian. Assured of the fact that the planet is uninhabited, the unexpected reception of a distress call from the surface could mean many things, none of which you are prepared for.

Subpar RTS. By no means am I particularly immaculate at any strategy game, but I can usually limp across the finish line at most at the bare minimum. This game, at least story wise, is so incredibly unfair in its design that it punishes you most steps of the way. Want to route a destination for your units? Watch as they fumble through in the most un-optimal pathing often veering off of it to who-knows-where. Do you want your units to just sit tight? You’ll be damned sure they will follow an enemy unit who so much as grazes their vision to the ends of the planet. Maybe you just need a bit of extra time to set up before you can launch a proper offense/defense… well the enemy just somehow had pristine control and amassed 3x the forces you ever could. This doesn’t even regard the forced minigames in some sections that require you to build a turret defense against waves of enemies with limited and hardly recoverable resources, or sneak through an enemy base with a unit that does not want to follow the most simple pathing you set. Eventually I had to give up as the frustrations were not worth whatever uninspired story the game was trying to tell. At best the game does okay in any one category but fails in most others, but I’m just a casual at RTS so I may not be the expert here.

ottimo
fun
I am not a good RTS players and i won't deny it. but i am confident i can defeat and AI of an RTS game. if the AI of the rts game doesn't start with maximum research, prebuild army and if it doesn't spawn right next to my base waiting for the first 10 seconds to pass before raiding my base. which only has miners and an infentary production built. now i want you to think of the skirmish after i just said that... idk if this is meant to be happen when you wish to play the game instead of the story but i basicly can't test the "waters" before diving into the story. and if this thing is what is suppossed to happen than in my oppinion this game is basicly unplayable. it doesn't help that hot keys for skills are at F1 F2 F3 and etc since instead of reading this hotkeys my laptop uses its unchangable hotkeys. oh i forgat to tell you, you can't change the hot keys too. so if im not ignorant this game expects you to be able to destroy a maxed army as a starter base if you want to play in its "sandbox" part and story... its straight up hot garbage in my oppinion i don't wanna comment any more than this. edit; i just found out, as long as you are not looking at their production base they can spawn units out of thin air non stop but when you are in vision they make units the same way you do. so turn out it is fair... if you can get their production buildings in your line of sight instantly
Meridian: New World, RPG unsurları içeren bağımsız, fütüristik bir bilim kurgu RTS oyunudur.
