Probably the best indie game this year. It's a must have for those who like the genre.
Calm, atmospheric, oldschool. I was looking for some retro game that had some potential to bring some nostalgic feelings from the old times and this one really gets that while offering new-age like elements too, so it's a good mix with the past and modern era. What also took my attention that, as the developers stated, they were inspired by one of my favorite game of all time, Kingdom, so based on that it definitely worth a shot from me. A really unique and rare gem. Cannot wait for the full release.
I would recommend it first and foremost to those who want an experience completely different from the mainstream. I literally searched for this game on steam. I'm a big itch.io fan, I try all kinds of stupid things, and I played an early version of this. It makes me a little sad that it's still early access. But it's amazing how much it's changed guys, I'm really curious to see how evolve this project takes until it's released. I hope that the very old version, which I once enjoyed so much, will be uploaded somewhere again, because I would like to play it again.
Very exciting the whole world, I'm waiting for the future developments. I want to know what's going to happen! Also love the design, quite unique. Still a lot of way to improve it, but Memetric is a promising game, I totally recommend it!!!
It's very complex. It draws from many different genres, sometimes it does well, sometimes less so. I will definitely play with it again.
At first the story was a bit slow for me, but I found the whole storyline and concept quite engaging. The characters and the dialogues were funny and interesting. The graphics reminded me of my old Nintendo games. Playing with this was kind of nostalgic, it brought back many dear childhood memories. I can't wait for the further versions!
Inspiring story and great graphical design A solid 10 out'a 10
I don't get it. My pc more than doubles the recommended requirements ( I regularly play FO4 and Rimworld with over 100 mods in any given run) and this game has crashed on me multiple times. When it does play, there is an incredible amount of lag and the inputs can take anywhere from 2-5 seconds to register, which I personally find unacceptable. Long story short, I can't recommend a game that's virtually unplayable with at least 2.5 of my hours waiting for the world to actually load after accepting my gender.
