That's how you would imagine Space Invaders in Virtual Reality! Fun little arcade wave shooter with nice colours, a lot of effects and swift gameplay. Check out the videos on the store page they really give you a good feeling about the game. You can choose between three weapons and have to beat highscores - of course what else. From time to time it can be a bit difficult since you have to dodge enemy bullets and yes I am a lazy VR player, dodging is definitely not mine. Just move your head a bit to the side. Overall a fun arcade shooter I will definitely come back to again. I got it cheap in a bundle and would recommend to buy it in one or on sale. RECOMMENDED! Quick Review: Fun, fast VR experience that is great for the whole family or first time VR experience. My 6 year old daughter really liked it, as did my wife. Neither are big gamers but they enjoy a good experience. Mega Overload, like many before it, is a wave shooter. It's got good cartoon style graphics that fit the game very well. It's fast paced, has an upgrade system and has coop multiplayer. I have not got to try the multiplayer yet but I can see it being a lot of fun. The price should be $10 or less IMO but I am sure it will go on sell or be in a bundle eventually. I made a first look video if you would like to see game footage. Für Mega Overload gibt es auf jeden Fall einen Daumen hoch.. warum? Schaut euch das Gameplay Video an ;-) https://youtu.be/fNUjeKfg3S8 Mega Overload ist ein absolut klassisches Arcade Spiel und könnte vom Spieldesign her sauber von 1982 in die heutige Zeit portiert worden sein. Es geht darum, dass man auf einem Asteroiden der Milchstrasse steht und das Universum vor den bösen fliegenden und sich formatierenden Bots beschützen muss. Wie macht man das? mit 2 Grossen Waffen. Das ganze erinnert sehr stark an das Spiel Galaga und macht in VR so richtig Spass. + Spielspass (Arcade) + Grafik (Comic) + Hauptmenü + Arcade Scoreboard + Grafikeinstellungen anpassbar - Keine Pause Funktion - Der Multiplayer funktioniert bei mir nicht. - Die Hintergrund Musik nervt mit der Zeit - Nach kurzer Zeit fallen einem fast die Finger ab Ich würde es begrüssen öffter mal (oder überhaupt mal) ein Power Up zu erhalten welches Dauerfeuer erzeugt. Die Finger werden bei dem "NON STOP" gepallere extrem beansprucht und bräuchten zwischendurch mal eine Pause. Pause selber ist nicht möglich.Auch zwischen den Wellen sind die Pausen nur ca 5-8 Sekunden lang. Ansonsten ein Top Arcade Spiel.

Single, or Online Co-op Multiplayer! Try a random match if there are other players online. It's a simple and fun title, especially in 2P. There is some strategy with the choice of power ups, and you should be ready to dodge a bit in your VR area! Graphics are cartoony, and more "kid friendly" than many of these VR battle games. Welcome Space invaders to the world of VR, great little game!

Very bland and simplistic shooting game. You start with two pistols and have to kill the baddies before they get to you. That's it. You also have a few choices of gun upgrades after every wave, but you have to trade lives for them, so getting them actually decreases your survivability! Plus, some enemies shoot you with seemingly unblockable projectiles. These are very poor gameplay mechanic decisions.

Good sense of progression as you learn how to beat each wave, what to prioritise etc. Co-op if you've got a friend. Very polished. If I had a kid, I would put them on this. Cons: Only the one game mode. Don't expect a lot of depth even for a wave shooter (e.g. - no combos/chains for score). Probably a bit pricey for what is on offer. Really I'd have to recommend it, definitely if on sale, and at full price if retro aesthetics and wave shooters are your jam.

Not to bad, like SPT with a more space invaders feel. Bought in the latest bundle $3.49 for 11 games so for 0.3172727272727273 cents it's a real bargain.
