It was just another Mega Mall Story that I still didn't enjoy. Not to mention the way the camera was positioned oddly for the sequel... just why the camera was fine in the first game...
I kind of knew it'd go like this, as much as I hoped it wouldn't
All the issues I have with the first one are still here, and then some, I mean there are a couple tiny things I guess, but nothing notable, I wish this was everything I wanted it to be, I wished the first was everything I wanted it to be, but it's just not. I won't go over everything I did in my review of the first game, because almost all of it still applies here, a couple of good things from it are missing here even, but sometimes less is more, and this game doesn't seem to understand that, it feels so much more clustered for no real reason, and is to the game's detriment compared to the first (which mind you, I sadly wasn't into). To the game's credit, it feels less like an idle-less idle game than the first, but I think that might just be because there's more popping up in your face, which isn't great since the menus feel more irritating, it just feels less balanced with more features but not more depth, more is thrown in, but it feels like so much nothing, If you liked the first game, I don't know if you'll like this one, maybe you will, maybe you won't, if you didn't like the first game, you'll probably like this one even less, clearly there are some people who enjoy this game, so I don't wanna just hate on it, but it doesn't scratch the itch I wanted it to, and feels like a time sink for the sake of sinking time into something, I just didn't get any enjoyment out of it, if you did, that's fine, I just don't get it, as much as I wish I did.
