Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 10.56/day in the week to Aug 4 → 9.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's aite I guess, ask me again in another 1000 hours.
MW5 is probably my favorite "pilot a big huge robot" experience in a while - it takes a while to get used to, and frankly it is just better to play it with the YAML suite of mods, but you get a solid layer of gameplay to get into and properly enjoy for at least a hundred hours. It is better to buy the DLCs on sale as they are quite pricey for what they offer, but the campaign is nice and the later DLC are super fun to play through (the initial few are also fine). The game does not look the best even on maximum details (you might be better off turning some of them down to High as the graphical difference is pretty minor. Clans looks better...but you'd also be playing Clans and that's far less free-form. You also should not expect your lancemate AI to be smart, but the latest DLC update helped with that a little - the enemy AI will still try to focus you instead, so while it is super fun playing all the ratty 'Mechs, most of the time I'm forced to roll out in a Victor or Nightstar to keep my impact on the mission and to not get horribly mauled by whatever Clan "Nicholas Kerensky was a fraud and shouldn't have made the clans" rolls out next time. The biggest threat to a Marik is a Marik. Glory to Marik.

Die clanner
mech autism realy got me hooked first gundam, then armored core, now mechwrrior wonder there it will take me next
an amazing game for anyone that loves mech games.
5.5/10, and I'm being generous. The reputation system is horrid. Your get penalized with a high reputation if you play light or medium Mech missions. There are endless pop up turrets, tanks and annoying aircraft that sounds like you have insects in your room with the constant droning until you kill them. This is the best the game developers could do to make it challenging? The salvage system is TERRIBLE- it requires you to blast a mech to pieces before you can afford it with the 'points' system the game uses. Same maps, missions, and terrain everywhere. With mods its playable, and I enjoy it in small time slots only. Mods just bring in sensible changes that should have been part of the core game in the first place. With just a few basic tweaks to gameplay this could have been a much better game. If you're a die-hard fan of BattleTech it's a decent game- with mods.
So much fun, and surprisely in-depth (especially with dlc). Great for those that like mechs and those that like battletech. Some optimisation issues though.
