Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Estimated Playtime (Episode 1): ~2 hours
Enter the post-apocalyptic world of Bifrostia, where mutants and robots coexist among the ruins of a lost technological civilization. The story takes place in Ilgrot — a rust-covered city governed by an artificial intelligence, where strange events unfold.
One seemingly ordinary day, you discover a mysterious space shuttle with an unusual robot on board. You will have to:
- escape the city,
- uncover the robot’s secret and its origin,
- find out why it is being hunted.
Interact with characters and the environment, solve puzzles, and complete mini-games.
Stylized hand-painted visuals convey a retrofuturistic atmosphere.
An ambient soundtrack with cyberpunk elements enhances the mood.

Reviews
Mechanic 8230: Escape from Ilgrot is a short - took me about 2 hours - point-and-click adventure, with unique but not quite high-production visuals that look more cute in motion than in screenshots, a very clean UI and a rather uninteresting story which feels like a prologue. I am dissatisfied by the shallowness of the story, followed by the shortness of the adventure, when valuing both versus the price of the game. For that reason, I recommend buying Mechanic 8230: Escape from Ilgrot when it is discounted.
