story is great, gameplay is fun, and you can make some funny teams
It's very fun. Great build variety and combination of active engagement to preserve your bots and passively watching their damage/output go up. Short and sweet and replayable to try different team comps. Would be a perfect game with more enemy variety, some more randomization of map order, etc.
having played more of the game, I am truly in love. visually, the game feels extremely polished with the cute pixel graphics. the one complaint I have is that having a big robot party swarmed with enemies becomes visually overwhelming. I think there needs to be a better way to identify and select/pick up individual robots during battle. **I would love a real-time-with-pause setup!** gameplay is quite addicting. I would say its a mix of hades non-combat sections with a kind of RTS/tower defense battles. but compared to hades, the scope of the game is drastically reduced as you would expect for a small indie title. music is perfectly atmospheric and fits the game nicely however I don't find it particularly memorable. in terms of fun delivered versus price point, we are in vampire survivors territory. that is very high praise in my opinion :)
