Very nice game

[h1]Hidden gem[/h1] [b]Tl;DR:[/b] Short but really well done side scrolling action game with a sense of humour. [b]Story:[/b] Plot of the game is fairly basic. We follow adventures of Mig Carter on his quest to save earth from bunny-alien invasion. Game doesn't treat itself too seriously and dialogues are full of jokes. Humour is kinda debatable, half of the jokes are really well written and delivered and the other half carters to less mature audience. [b]Graphics:[/b] Characters consist of well made 2d sprites with smooth animations. Backgrounds are filled with detali. [b]Gameplay:[/b] This is where Mayhem Triple really shines. Everything you do in this game has weight and feels right, from shooting enemies and dodging projectiles to preforming parkour. Great selection of weapons that work different from each other so you can quickly find something you like and have a completely different experience on repeat playthrough if you desire. Enemies react to damage and every weapon affects them differently, for example high caliber weapons tear off limbs, flamers burn their corpses, stake gun stick them to a wall etc. Dodging is also a key component to the game. It allows you to dive in a direction you are currently moving to avoid damage and bypass enemies. Not only that but dodging doesn't take away your ability to shoot so after some practice you can relase your inner Max Payne (slowmo not included). Not much variety in enemy types but minibosses show up often to break up the pace. [b]Music:[/b] Tracks in this game are fantastic, however there is one serious issue. They consist of a really short loops so it's normal to hear the same track 2-3 times while completing a level. [b]Difficulty/Achevements:[/b] Mayhem tripple is fairly easy unless you are going for "Iron Mang" achievement. Minor enemies are not that tough and bosses can be difficult at first but after you figure out their pattern it's fairly straight forward. Fully upgrading your character makes you really tough and only way you are going to die is instant death traps like pits and electricity. For the rest of the achievements it's either fairly easy stuff or grinding. As of the day I'm writing this review the only achievement I'm missing is "Bunny Genocide" which just requres you to kill enough enemies (6-th loop and I'm only half way to this achievement so it just takes time). [b]Conclusion:[/b] This game is seriously good and I'm really suprised it completely fell under the radar. Get it, it's not that expensive and really worth playing.

Wow this one is a very pleasant surprise. It's not super-great, but it's still a lot of fun that reminds me on good action-platforming of the SNES era. Good controls for the most part, nice gimmicks here and there, lots of stuff going on in the levels and the environment... Wasn't expecting much because of its looks, but it definitely has more gameplay than it looks. Definitely recommend.
