MatchR: Now Hiring

I'm writing this review while I wait for my turn. The AI is currently chaining match 4's and getting more playtime than me.

Not horrible, but it feels pretty slow, and not particularly fun. The dialog is pretty bad.

Look no further because MatchR: Now Hiring has you covered! Frolick through 3 floors of pandemonium as you meet your coworkers and defeat them in a lovely match 3 atmosphere! Unlock character traits and stickers that will help you rise through the ranks and learn the back story of each of the protagonists to choose from. Unlock secrets by clicking around (Pay attention to certain dialogue for some of it or just look at the Discussions tab as to date there is no guide for any of it. Not sure if by request of the dev or not...) and reveal silly little things! They grant you tokens of course to help you with your Match3 job! So what are you waiting for? No need to don on your business suit for this casual game! Open it up and get ready to have fun!

Macht wirklich Spaß. Ist ein tolles Spiel für nebenbei. Liebevoll gestaltet und nicht zu anspruchsvoll. 100 % Errungenschaften sind gut machbar.

This match 3 game can be summed up by saying its like Tetris Attack meets Match 3. Its addicting and I love the backstories of the characters. Super fun to play and can be challenging 9/10 match 3 game!

I was really looking forward to this, but I just can't get into it, it felt more like a chore to play. I don't think I felt single moment of satisfaction. I also expected more of the story with this setup, but it doesn't have any feel of personality to it. The one liner change feels like just something glued on. It's cute, and the idea seems great, but somehow it's just slow. But someone who enjoys match 3 type of things, it just didn't click. Music, if described in one word, is dull. I'm also not really a fan of CPU always doing the perfect move. Of course, you can do that yourself too as there is no timelimit whatsoever, but pitch perfect CPU has never been a fun to play with. All in all, it's just boring to me. :( Knowing I will never return to this and feeling disappointed more than anything, refunded.

A fun match 3 roguelite with cute characters and funny dialogue. There are lots of unlocks to achieve such as characters, traits, and stickers which all help you go further next run. Beat the MatchR corporation and get each character to the end to learn their stories.
