Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

- Zgodnie z treścią idziemy szukać s r a c z a. Znajdujemy jeszcze jedną kartkę, zapałki, jumpscare'a w kolejnym kiblu, parę cegieł i bunkier. 3/10
Overall, this was a fun game. The jump scares in the beginning were perfectly executed, but after a while, you start recognizing the patterns and can focus more on progression. There are plenty of bricks to collect (your main defense against Matanga), along with a good amount of lore to uncover. One tip for fellow players—map out the dungeons as you go to minimize unnecessary backtracking. It'll make your experience much smoother!

Matanga is a low-budget indie horror game that leans heavily on atmosphere, claustrophobic environments, and a simple survival premise. Developed and published by MATANGA GAMES, it revolves around the grim legend of a cannibalistic maniac lurking within a dense and unsettling forest. The setup is intentionally straightforward: a group of friends disappears after a late-night party in the woods, and you step into the role of someone determined to search for them. What follows is a descent into a maze of dark paths, crude shelters, abandoned structures, and underground corridors where danger is always present. Rather than relying on complex mechanics or elaborate storytelling, the game focuses on evoking dread through disorientation, tension, and environmental pressure. The core gameplay centers on navigating labyrinth-like zones while collecting pieces of evidence that reveal the fate of the missing group. Movement is slow and deliberate, and the environments are intentionally repetitive to heighten the feeling of being lost. The constant threat of the titular Matanga—a wild, unpredictable figure who stalks the player—adds an element of stealth and risk management. Many sections require listening carefully, watching shadows, and retreating quickly when danger emerges. The game’s pacing alternates between stretches of quiet exploration and abrupt moments of pursuit, creating a rhythm that keeps the player uneasy even when nothing is happening. While there are occasional interactive elements and multiple possible endings, the primary tension comes from navigating hostile spaces under threat rather than solving puzzles or managing resources. Visually, Matanga relies on dim lighting, thick fog, and narrow passageways to build its atmosphere. The Unreal Engine foundations give the environments some texture, but the overall presentation is rough around the edges. Repetitive tree models, low-resolution assets, and aggressive motion effects are used to create discomfort, sometimes intentionally and sometimes as a by-product of the game’s limitations. The camera bobbing and quick turning speed contribute to an unstable feeling that mirrors the protagonist’s fear, but these choices can also cause motion sickness or frustration for certain players. Sound design follows a similar philosophy: minimal but tense, with distant noises, footsteps, and ambient forest hums generating a sense of unease. The audio cues are crucial, as they often signal the approach of Matanga before he emerges. Narratively, the game keeps things extremely simple. There are hints of backstory scattered through the environment, brief notes about the friends who vanished, and small clues pointing toward Matanga’s past or his violent habits. The story does not attempt to subvert horror tropes; instead, it fully embraces the familiar “killer in the woods” setup. Multiple endings, including both “good” and “bad” outcomes, offer some replay value for players who want to uncover alternate conclusions or piece together the scattered narrative fragments. However, the storytelling never grows beyond a framework designed to justify exploration and survival. It provides just enough motivation to keep moving forward without getting in the way of the game’s tense, atmospheric pacing. Despite its ambition, Matanga shows clear signs of being a very small-scale production. Its strengths lie in the raw atmosphere it creates—the oppressive darkness, the tight spaces, and the constant threat of being hunted. However, the weaknesses are hard to ignore. Navigation can become tedious, the repetitive environment design reduces the sense of discovery, and the technical roughness occasionally undermines immersion. The game’s tension often derives more from visual discomfort and confusion than from deliberate suspense or clever encounter design. As a result, the experience can feel uneven, especially for players accustomed to more polished indie horror titles. Still, for enthusiasts of obscure horror games, Matanga holds a certain appeal. It offers a short, eerie experience built around fear of the unknown and the claustrophobia of being lost in hostile territory. Those who enjoy navigating rough, experimental horror projects may find charm in its rawness and atmosphere. For most players, however, the game will likely feel more like a curiosity than a standout entry in the genre. It succeeds at generating dread but struggles to refine or expand that fear into something deeper. Ultimately, Matanga is best approached as a rough, unsettling horror experiment—one that offers a tense but uneven journey through the darkness. Rating: 5/10
Cyka Blyat!
This was just bad. not scary, the bobbing and turning navigation was just annoying, sounds are meh. the brick deterrent didn't really do anything, not that it was needed cause the "enemy" AI was kinda a push over. kinda wish i didn't take so long to play so i could get a refund. Not anywhere near the worst game I've played but definitely on the list
