:) I Love Mass Effect :)

BioWare has long been known for its exceptional writing, and the Mass Effect trilogy more than lives up to that reputation. Its narrative is expertly written, taking players through moments that are dramatic, humorous, heartbreaking, and triumphant, all while maintaining a constant sense of looming dread as the weight of your responsibilities grows ever heavier. Few games make your choices feel as meaningful as Mass Effect. Decisions made in the first game can have lasting consequences all the way into the third, creating a world that feels genuinely reactive. The cast is equally impressive. Every squad mate has a distinct personality that shines through their conversations and interactions. They joke, argue, form friendships, fall in love, mourn losses, and fight with each other. Watching these relationships evolve over three games makes the Normandy feel less like a spaceship and more like a family. Mass Effect 1 The first game is the weakest entry in the trilogy, but it is still a strong RPG in its own right. Its main story is compelling, introducing the indomitable Commander Shepard and a fascinating galaxy filled with memorable alien races, political intrigue, and a rich shared history. The extensive world-building gives the universe an incredible sense of scale, and exploration is consistently rewarded with lore that deepens your understanding of its civilizations and the motivations behind their actions. The game also isn't afraid to force difficult moral choices that carry genuine emotional weight. Many decisions have no perfect solution, requiring you to weigh consequences. Its biggest weakness lies in the side content. Many optional missions take place in nearly identical facilities, with only minor differences in enemy placement or furniture layout, making them feel repetitive after a while. The Mako vehicle tests your patience more than your combat skills thanks to its awkward controls. BioWare clearly recognized this, as characters in later games even poke fun at how miserable it was to drive. Despite its flaws, Mass Effect lays an outstanding foundation for everything that follows. 6/10 Mass Effect 2 For me, Mass Effect 2 is the high point of the trilogy. Nearly every aspect of the original is refined. Combat feels smoother, the interface is cleaner, character progression is more satisfying, and the expanded roster of squad mates creates one of the best ensembles in gaming. More importantly, this is where the series truly finds its identity. The game places a strong emphasis on your crew, with each squad mate receiving meaningful character development through loyalty missions that explore their histories, motivations, and personal struggles. These stories make your teammates feel like real people rather than supporting characters. The central mission carries an increasing sense of urgency, and your decisions have immediate and lasting consequences. You'll laugh at your crew's antics, become frustrated by their flaws, celebrate their victories, and agonize over the sacrifices required to accomplish your mission. By the end, every decision feels personal because you've grown to care deeply about the people depending on you. 9/10 Mass Effect 3 Mass Effect 3 delivers a fitting and emotionally powerful conclusion to the trilogy. Although its ending remains controversial for offering several choices that many players found unsatisfying, the journey to reach that point is outstanding. From the opening moments, the game carries an overwhelming sense of urgency and inevitability. The galaxy is at war, and every victory comes at a cost. There is no perfect outcome, only difficult compromises. The choices you've made throughout the trilogy determine who survives, which civilizations endure, and how much must ultimately be sacrificed to secure victory. Long-running storylines converge in satisfying ways, with years of decisions finally paying off for better or worse. Characters you've come to know over dozens of hours face impossible situations, and not everyone makes it through. The emotional impact comes not just from the scale of the conflict, but from the personal consequences of your actions. While its ending prevents it from reaching the heights of Mass Effect 2, it remains a compelling finale that explores themes of sacrifice, responsibility, and the far-reaching consequences of the choices we make. 8/10 Taken together, the Mass Effect trilogy stands as a great achievements in storytelling. Its memorable characters, richly developed universe, and unparalleled emphasis on player choice create an experience that few RPGs have matched. While each game has its strengths and weaknesses, the trilogy as a whole is far greater than the sum of its parts, making it an easy recommendation for anyone who values immersive storytelling and meaningful player agency.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 24: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

masterpiece
This is one of my favorite games and trilogies. Played it originally on Xbox and then in 2021 (?) played the Legendary Edition on Xbox One. BioWare games always have a good mix of dialogue, options w/ consequences, and action. The decision between paragon and renegade is always a tough one but that's why you play more than once. It's always interesting to see how your decisions carry over between the games. My biggest gripe is the change in gameplay between 1 and 2 - I hated moving from guns overheating to thermal clips. The limit to the skill tree and the change in the weapon options is also annoying. Some of the controls on PC are also less intuitive than they were on xbox and that's odd cause it's usually not the case. Never beat it on Insanity so that's the goal. The lore of this universe lives strong in my head.
