Kicking robots while their down will never get old. All the games run flawlessly on Steam Deck.

Here's some solid ports of early Marvel games and i am happy to relive some of the joy and suffering from my youth. Features include the now obligatory save states and rewind button as well as multiple platform versions of applicable titles. Happily there are cheats available for some of the games, which vary in usefulness: for instance, Silver Surfer has Unlimited Health, Bombs and Lives which trivializes that beast, while Arcade's Revenge has Unlimited Lives; helpful sure, but you're still going to know the relentless agony beating that game provides. Sweetly, for those who chose not to beat the Silver beast with cheats, there is a turbo fire button which is pretty much required. A few greats are here: X-men Arcade, Captain America and the Avengers as well as Silver Surfer (most would disagree on this game being good BUT: my house, my rules). Also included are some truly mediocre titles: Maximum Carnage and its sister game, Separation Anxiety as well as that ravening nightmare of a game, Spiderman and the X-Men: Arcade's Revenge. There's also a bunch of fun stuff like a music player, a handful of design documents, instruction booklets etc. I lament that Spiderman vs. the Kingpin as well as X-Men for the Genesis weren't nestled in with these games of yore, but am still very much enjoying what's here. I have seen comments regarding some trouble with internet play as well as achievements. The latter works fine for me, and i cannot comment on the former, as i have no interest in playing these titles online. Thus, this collection gets a thumbs up from me!

Довольно необычный сборник. Вот точно не ожидал такого подарка фанатам Марвел и в целом фанатам старых игр Список игр довольно интересный, жаль конечно что нет той же дилогии икс менов с сеги или моего любимого Человек Паук против Кингпина с сеги мега драйв. Но и без них есть во что поиграть Отличная аркадная классика, два бит эм апа по паучку которые прям пропитаны духом девяностых. Неудивительно ведь первая игра это игронизация крутейшей арки Максимальная резня, советую всем почитать её. Такой марвел мы потеряли и больше никогда не увидим. Добавили даже легендарно каловую игру про серебрянного сёрфера о которой все узнали после не менее легендарного обзора от АВГНА! У меня хоть в детстве не было сеги, денди и тем более уж снес. Я зумер который проходил того же паука на уроках в телефоне с ужасным сенсорным управлением но это не останавливало меня от игры в этот уникальный, уже для нашего времени, бит эм ап От чего грустно осознавать что в наше время подобных игр мы не увидим. Эти игры в первую очередь не какие то легенды и классика гейминга 90ых, на самом деле для своего времени довольно нишевые и откровенно средние игры. Были бит эм апы и по лучше по типу тех же улиц ярости. Но сам факт того что тогда делали игры именно про супергероев комиксов Не было никакой повестки, борьбы за лицензию и прав. Каждая студия могла сделать свою игру про любимого героя в трико. Беря в пример того же паука мне сейчас за него очень грустно. Второй паук от инсомниак безопасный сиквел с плохой реализацией и ужасным сюжетом, и других пауков у нас не будет ведь права сейчас у сони. А ведь только в 90 ые у нас были разные пауки, от разных студий, под разные консоли и с максимальным уважением к первоисточнику в виде комикса или мультсериала по которому выходила игра Грустно, но от того и приятно снова прикоснуться к таким забытым играм довольно уникальной и по особенному крутой эпохе марвела 90ых Если не играли советую, если ломает от ценника поиграйте на эмуляторе. Сам долго ломался но по итогу моё марвелобойство и коллекционирование стим взяло вверх надо мной и взял. Из глобальных минусов, если сравнивать с тем же сборником про черепашек ниндзя то очень не хватает бонусов. Прошло 30 лет, много документации могло потеряться, студии которые делали эти игры уже может и не существуют а создателей может уже и не быть среди нас. Но кроме сканов обложек и пары мануалов ничего нет. Что довольно грустно В общем, советую)

This takes me back 2 simpler times. I'm glad this FINALLY came out. I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this problem but the game Maximum Carnage while playing Venom in Central Park after beating I can't move on to the next level. Venom just keeps on getting whooped by Doppelganger, and Shriek. Everything else is cool though and I do recommend this game.

Giving this a cautious recommend. The online works pretty well for me unless there's more than 4 players usually. The chance to play 6 player X-men is awesome as long as the patch works. The Data East arcade game is fun but somewhat janky. The console games are good if you have historical/nostalgic attachment to the times they released.

I mean...wow! Gimme more!

Compilation de jeux assez moyens, seules les versions arcade de X-Men et de Captain America and The Avengers sortent la tête de l’eau et s’avèrent encore amusantes en 2026 en raison de leurs réalisations nettement supérieures à leurs homologues consoles.

love it! hope they make a sequel with more of the older marvel games
