Fun and Refreshing
Honestly this is just a really awesome game that combines collecting and building awesome card decks with wrestling. I love it and look forward to see the game grow.
Love the game! If possible, would love to see full animations in the future. Great game overall! Keep adding to it and card game lovers and wrestling fans will come play this amazing game!
fun very fun
pretty fun.
it's a very fun and addictive game, the only other wrestling card game i can think of was wwe's 'with authority,' and this blows that out of the water. seems like wrestling games are still an untapped market for the most part because any indie game that is put out tends to trounce the wwe ones - as long as you don't care about graphics, which i don't. although they did drop the ball pretty hard on that, as well. the game features unique mechanics such as fusing cards together, creating your own cards, searching for specific cards to create goat-tier cards, etc. the innovation and combo features are enjoyable, as well. there's so much here to keep a player addicted to the core formula of the game, and i can't wait to see more development on this solid framework. that being said, once you get around level 10, it's a grind. the game acknowledges this, as the season mode is literally called 'grind,' but it takes ages to level up once you reach that point. the money you earn from wins, as well as the xp are very inadequate. also well before you reach that point, you'll be winning matches in 4 turns max. there's no real point in having any card with a cost higher than 3 because no match lasts long enough to get to 5 momentum. i have yet to use a finisher move because the players' health bars are so meager, and the cards i have are so powerful that it simply isn't engaging. increasing player health upon level up + successively tougher enemies hp-wise could be a solution. other issues i have are the inability to buy anything other than standard packs from the store, though the game itself advises the player to buy different packs. i will reserve judgement on that particular issue in case different packs become available as you level. while the variety of match types are enjoyable, there's no way to know for certain which cards can be used in which matches. there are several matches where anything should be able to be played; ladder matches, hardcore matches, cage matches, first blood matches, and table matches have no actual restrictions regarding weapon usage and so it shouldn't be an issue for me to use a coffin, for example. on the flip side, it shouldn't be possible for an opponent to introduce a cage card in any match but a cage match, yet i've received cagetop dives from opponents in a hardcore match and a ladder match before. it would be good to have a sort of indicator on the card or a warning before entering a match that your chosen deck contains an incompatible card. it also seems like dives can be combined with a cage card, but most cannot be combined with a ladder card. the rock-papers-scissors minigame to determine who goes first is an annoyance due to the frequency of choosing the same item as the cpu. it would be fine randomized. aside from the grind and the quickness of the matches, most of these issues are very minor and i'll be glad to see how the development of the game progresses.
This is a great game that is literally getting better every day. The game mechanics are fun and there is a ton of customization. If you like wrestling games stop reading this and buy Mark Out immediately.

If you've played RAW Deal, With Authority or Synamic D this is a game you want to check out. It's still in Early Access, but the foundations are already here for something awesome . A wrestling collectable card game, much like the games mentioned above where you build your best desk of cards to challenge the AI or PVP for EXP to level up and VC (No micro-transactions). VC earnt from winning matches is then spent on opening packs of cards to acquire new moves to add to your collection. There is also a create a wrestler option where you can watch your CAW perform the cards moves during gameplay and a create a card and combine option, where you can cook up any move you wish. But at the bones, it's a turn based wrestling card game. And a very good one 5 stars from me
