simply art
It is an experience, not a game. And an excellent one. If you read the negative reviews saying you can't move, no dialogs, no gameplay etc, either these are children expecting for an actual game, or adults which completely missed the point. Also. those who claim there is no story, obviously need to open up a lot. There is one, told in a very special way. If you ever wanted to explain why video gaming is art, this is a good example.

a friend had told me about this game and how it was quite good for only 15 minutes, and that it was a "test for how well your headset could deal with tears" and i completly doubted him but was still curious thanks to the art style. it %100 stands up to the standard it was put, i was in a call with said friend and another and i thought that would impead the emotional impact of it but they watched quietly as i enjoyed this 15 minute masterpiece and took in everything (as you should with VR) and like expected i cried. This game is so emotionally impactful and just generally a must have for such a short game.
Beautiful little story
excellent artstyle! great game for getting over your fear of eye contact
According to my library, there are 16 games I would call "Art". Games that force me to consider something about myself or the world around me, games that elicit an emotional response weather it's the 1st or 50th time I've played. The games in this category range from games like Journey or The Talos Principle to games like Night in the Woods or OneShot. This is one of those 16. The game isn't long at all- my first playthrough clocked in at about 20 minutes- but every second had something for me, be it wondering why something was happening, or (and this actually happened after the second chapter) falling to my knees in despair as the truth set in. This is a game that will make you contemplate what it means to be alive, what it means to die, and how fine the line between living and dying can be....How in the middle of a perfectly mundane moment, everything can be ripped away from you, forever. If you have VR, I strongly suggest you get this game.
Lovely made short bitter-sweet animated experience with hidden object elements. And those eyes...
