I'm not sure I'd call this a game. It's more of a very short story that you watch by looking in the right direction. It's not a *bad* game, but I didn't exactly say, "Oh WOW!" when it was over. And it was over fast.
Absolutely loved the experience! Just note that this is really more of an interactive VR experience than a traditional game. I honestly don’t get people who buy this kind of experimental thing and then get mad that it’s exactly what it says it is.
I was not interested in this "game" from the first minute till the end 20mn later. There is really nothing to appart from looking in the eyes of animal like humans...
Took me less than 20 minutes but I know that I will replay it in a few months to fill my VR headset with tears
of joy
again I barely see games this short with such excellent story telling
about 20 minutes long, its alright, probably get it on sale
Well now, that wasn't what I was expecting, I'm thoroughly pleased though. That was a solid and emotional trip of a VR experience. This is not really a game mind you, it's more of like an interactive movie. It's worth the 5 dollar price tag, try to get it on sale if you can, but even then 5 bucks ain't bad for a 20 minute interactive story. It's amazing how much they could unpack in such a short amount of time. 10/10. Sit back and enjoy the story of Manifest 99 Make sure to wave.
Lovely made short bitter-sweet animated experience with hidden object elements. And those eyes...
According to my library, there are 16 games I would call "Art". Games that force me to consider something about myself or the world around me, games that elicit an emotional response weather it's the 1st or 50th time I've played. The games in this category range from games like Journey or The Talos Principle to games like Night in the Woods or OneShot. This is one of those 16. The game isn't long at all- my first playthrough clocked in at about 20 minutes- but every second had something for me, be it wondering why something was happening, or (and this actually happened after the second chapter) falling to my knees in despair as the truth set in. This is a game that will make you contemplate what it means to be alive, what it means to die, and how fine the line between living and dying can be....How in the middle of a perfectly mundane moment, everything can be ripped away from you, forever. If you have VR, I strongly suggest you get this game.
A nice and short (25 minutes) VR experience full of emotion. The soundtrack was fantastic and really set the tone for the whole thing. At first, you're not sure what's going on in the story, but after a bit it all comes together.
