Gran juego de mi niñez, la primera gran obra maestra de las aventuras gráficas, con múltiples finales. Lástima que este en inglés y no traducido, pero a poco que lo entiendas, es jugable sin problemas. Recomiendo jugar al menos una vez al padre de este género.

I loved the NES version as a kid and since this is the only version on Steam I've got to recommend this classic. That being said, it doesn't have those classic music tracks that really helped that version stand out. There are also some bugs and an unintuitive user experience. So, while the base game is worth playing ... it also isn't going to totally help any NES version fans fully re-live that nostalgia nor be the best experience for a modern gamer interested in this classic.

(Played via ScummVM) A true classic, released in 1987 Maniac Mansion changed the adventure genre and pushed it further with the creation of the SCUMM Engine. Nice colorful graphics, a memorable cast of characters & lots of variety in terms of how you can complete it. I admit i got confused & frustrated sometimes but I still had fun playing. Definitely a must play if you're interested in the history of point & click adventure games. 7.5/10

The SCUMM emulator window that opens when you boot up the game does break up the immersion a little bit but it's fine, I appreciate the effort to preserve old games in a legal and secure way. The first time I played this game was when I was a little boy and I come back to it every once in a while. It's a fun point and click adventure that captures the wackiness of the 80's, I recommend playing the deluxe version over the original for better graphics but more importantly, better sound, I can't stand the original 8bit soundtrack lol makes my eardrums bleed. People familiar with Double Fine Productions and Tim Schafer works can also appreciate this game as he worked for Lucasfilm games back in the day and this defined his style, he also worked on the maniac mansion sequel called Day of the tentacle and many more games.
