PROJECT 13

I like anomaly hunting games, i really do. And most of them are ok-ish. Few are really good. PROJECT 13 is not in those two categories however. First, on minimal settings i am getting perhaps 20 FPS. Perhaps less. And i got few game crashes. As one of my viewers suggested that this could be a RAM issue due to having an open browser, OBS, recording software, etc. (mind - i am playing without problems games like Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and Avowed on the same machine). So...ok, i did a second attempt, stopped everything except the game. Still barely runs. Second - there are some really terrible head bobbing/helmet/tunnel vision effects. The option to stop them is present, but it doesn't seems to work. Third - sounds. See, there is some kind of repeating sound in the game, i am not sure how to describe it...my head is hurting after playing for 5 minutes. There are one or two anomalies related to sounds, so no, you can't play without sounds... Removing this and the game...still sucks. So my verdict is - Not recommended. I played this after finishing Exit 8 and Platform 8, the poster children for the anomaly spotting genre afaik, I was expecting something similar to them, and while it was similar in gameplay style, my enjoyment of the game was not the same. This game is straight buns. Finding some of the anomalies seems like a borderline herculean task when Unreal Engine 5 is fighting against you to make the game look like dog piss on the sidewalk, there were like two anomalies out of the 27 or so I encountered where I thought that the game might be redeemed and then instantly went back to contesting with the engine. The options menu has about as many 'options' as I'd expect in a game released before the turn of the millenium, which doesn't help with the overall instability of the game. If you REALLY like the concept and genre, I'd get it on sale, otherwise I find this hard to recommend to anyone else.

I'm getting depressed because of this game.

Я извиняюсь, конечно, но где, простите в этой игре настройки языка? Вроде как заявлено много языков, как их выбирать? Что, все переводы типо только в одном окошке с правилами? Серьёзно? ПФ... На высоких настройках ощутимо лагает и фризит. В целом играть можно, нормально для игр такого плана (я имею ввиду с коридором аномалий). Хотя 13 раз подряд - это всё-таки многовато на мой взгляд, для игры, где аномалии может вообще не быть.

Хорошие коридорные аномалии. Полный набор. Есть, которые тебя убьют. Есть криповые. Есть трудно заметные. На все про все много времени не займет)
