About
1. This unique war game lets you command a mix of maneuver and combat support units that you can assemble into combined-arms battle groups. Build these around a core of infantry and armor, and reinforce them with combat support elements like anti-tank or engineer platoons. Then command them across battlefields where you must synchronize maneuver and fire, and plan for ammunition replenishment, in order to defeat an enemy who fights according to tactically-sound battle plans. Fight historical scenarios or use an editor to design your own offensive or defensive battles where you can go for an easy day by crushing a mass of early-war light tanks with King Tigers, or challenge yourself to stop a flood of Soviet armor with nothing but infantry and anti-tank guns. DLCs add additional battles and operations, as well as logistics and headquarters elements.
2. Your selection of units includes:
a. motorized and mechanized infantry companies;
b. Soviet and German assault gun companies;
c. tank companies ranging from the early Panzer IID to the heavy King Tigers;
d. batteries of field artillery and multiple rocket launchers that support you with indirect fire and lay smoke screens;
e. combat engineer platoons that can lay and breach minefields;
f. reconnaissance detachments;
g. anti-tank gun platoons;
h. tank destroyer platoons that range from the very first Panzerjagers to the massive Jagdtigers;
i. forward air controllers who can call in reconnaissance and strike aircraft as well as fighters to protect you from enemy air attack; and
j. platoons of deadly 88mm Flak guns to defeat the enemy's heaviest tanks.
3. Face off against a selection of 159 British, French, German, Polish, and Soviet unit types.
4. Choose from 8 short campaigns or custom-assemble these to create a Grand Campaign.
a. 1939: Poland
b. 1940: Belgium and France
c. 1941: Operation Barbarossa
d. 1941: Operation Typhoon
e. 1942: Advance into the Caucasus
f. 1943: The Battle of Kursk
g. 1944: Defensive battles during the withdrawal across Poland
h. 1945: The final German coutneroffensive in Pomerania and fighting at the line of the Oder river.

q. Bug, 1944 – delay the Soviet advance towards the Bug river.
r. Radzymin, 1944 – counterattack the Soviet armored spearheads advancing on Warsaw and then cover the German withdrawal from this battle;

As an ex-infantry officer I can say that this game delivers all the command and control you would want over your troops on the battlefield. It delivers a realistic expectations on how individual units move through terrain, combat under given conditions of a long-running campaign and communicate with each other using respective call signs giving the experience more realism than other games. The campaign mode is interesting because it's a long series of missions and you must play it conservatively because you only realistically resupply once the mission is complete but you don't go back to 100% effectiveness, the game is just and fair and realistic that way. It makes it more of a challenge. I look forward to continue ploughing through my campaign. Awesome game, very fun.
Having played hundreds of computer wargames over the last decades, I have to say that I was quite surprised how this game instantly feels unique. I have just a few games but I really look forward to dig in, exploring alternative strategies. It’s definitively not for those who are looking for blockbusters FX or who enjoy senselessly rushing around fancy units. The interface may look a bit rough but the gameplay is smooth. I really appreciate the levels of details, the pace of this game. This is full of possibilities and ideas , nice!!
Update: the update has been released and the game runs great has more content and improved the ingame enclyopedia - this game has a charm and the developer is active in many ways - the Ai is hard core but tactically hard core - anti tank guns are road security, climbing through forest suck, and sometimes order take awhile to get up stream, best laid plans truly are worthles. Active developer active game - buy this game you will have fun and it gets in your head lol The game is fun to play reminds me of playing table top back in the day but without knocking over the board accidentally on purpose. The mechanics are splendid, and you get enough stats to know if you just throw you men into a meat grinder. You can customize the names of your commanders and they survive units get buffed, there is a hq attachment buff as well. Movement is good, fog of war is good. There is an editor so you can create encounters and limit points to spend to as low as 500, a company of tigers 176 points so it can get down to low personnel counts for some units and you know it commander. Air and arty strikes work - you see a flying octogon but it works the whole thing works. You have Poles, French, Soviets, British as opp force. There is an encyclopedia big data base so you play with it but you wont know what the ai has spent, The only issue is you can only play as the Germans but that said it is fun and you I did create a scenario where 24 Char b1s, 4 companies adhoc vs 5 German conscripts companies of 148 men each, no arty no armor- so you can play just cant play the other sides yet- there is an announcement soon about an update.. Looking forward to it. I would recommend the game hope it keeps growing its fun to play here is my battle in France 1940 in Maneuver Warfare https://youtu.be/ottGKGxzEH8 fun battle
Unorthodox wargame which is in continuous development, being improved all the time. The game lets you command units in real time, with an emphasis on tactical warfare, slightly like the older game Command Ops. The controls and mechanics are less complex however, which benefits gameplay a whole lot. Maneuver Warfare will give the player a unique wargaming experience and is heartily recommended.
Very unique strategy game, it's real time and offers a lot of depth under the surface. There are plenty of missions and it is quite challenging. The graphics are pretty basic, but it's really much more about the tactics and strategy than visual flare. Would be cool to see it upgraded with better graphics one day. Still, very cool and you're not likely to find anything else quite like this.
I like whats here, I think this is a good game. However Super low fps even on a good rig 9700k, 2080 16gb of ram. I think if the dev can fix the fps issues this would be a great game. Otherwise it may not be worth it. at points I am getting 8-15fps randomly.
Outstanding RTS Wargame! Speed Control Full Zoom Out Battle Loss Reports NO timed missions as an option Realistic Sounds 1000 Meter grid squares Unit Leaders Indirect fire and Air Support and the list goes on!
With each update this game keeps getting better. A great military sim, fun, tough and engaging. Has some similarities with Command Ops, which is a good thing :).
The topic and some of the mechanics of this war game are enough to offset missing features and visual appeal. Really hoping that this war game continues to be developed.
Typically, strategies of this type are turn-based and hexagonal, so it is unusual to see such a game in real time. However, this interesting approach has turned into a fairly good game. (9/10)
Advantages:
✅Good sound design, whether it is the sounds of gunfire, artillery strikes, or unit reactions to player commands. ✅A large number of campaigns, ranging from the major campaigns of 1939–1945 to smaller ones, such as the final Battle of Berlin. While completing them and commanding a combat group, your units will improve, from early motorized infantry to late Panzergrenadiers. Tanks also progress from the Panzer I and II to the Panther. You will need to constantly adjust your tactics in both defense and offense. You can also inspect every formation; each company has its commander, and each company has squads with their own commanders, who have names and can be awarded medals throughout the campaign. ✅After each battle, detailed statistics of killed and wounded personnel are available. ✅Easy for new players, so it can be played almost immediately. ✅A large number of single missions, including battles for Poland, Belgium, France, the USSR, as well as Czechoslovakia (DLC) and Yugoslavia (DLC). ✅The battles differ over time, from the dominance of German infantry and equipment in 1939 and rapid breakthroughs to the need to stop large numbers of enemy tanks and infantry in 1944–1945. ✅Pleasant visuals, and the game does not crash.
Disadvantages:
❌The interface is totally overloaded. I wouldn't say that I get very lost in it, but with each update it becomes more and more cluttered. Currently, it occupies about 30% of the screen. ❌The formation and command of combat groups are not entirely clear. ❌It is impossible to rotate a unit, so formations sometimes look chaotic.
Note:
⚡The Ukrainian language is not supported, so it will be necessary to use English. ⚡Germans speak English; it would be great to have a German voice-over. ⚡It is unfortunate that you cannot play as Poland or France; it would be interesting.
