Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 8 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Its a good game but we need some serious QoL updates because from the management part its terrible to play. But if you are a great fan of grand strategy games I definietly recommend this one to you. Especially if you are a real OG.
Despite of harsh critisism in past and a bit too linear starting phase and also few omitted opportunities in functional design there is still a huge fun-potential awaiting each strategy fan there. A game rather for a kind of "lean back"-patient strategy fans though. For me there was no doubt it's for me a definitive fun there - and thus a "buy". Well, I still play it occasionally nowadays.

I keep trying to get into this game, but it is so complicated and difficult to understand basic game play that I cant get far. I end up paralyzed by what to do since there is no clear direction. The "tutorial" is worthless and does not help at all. I was hoping for a less complicated HOI without all the DLC BS, but instead I threw away my money on this. Dont waste your money on this one.
Nice to play,but: - OUT OF MEMORY ERROR - DIPLOMACY
Entertaining.

Gameplay Mechanics: 10/10 Narrative: 7/10 Graphics: 6/10 Sound and Music: 6/10 Replayability: 10/10 Innovation: 9/10 Making History: The Second World War is a standout turn-based grand strategy game that delivers an unparalleled experience of managing a nation during World War II. The gameplay mechanics are exceptional, offering players deep control over military strategy, economic planning, and diplomatic relations. The intricate balance of managing resources, building armed forces, and forming alliances creates a satisfying and challenging sandbox environment. For its depth and strategic flexibility, gameplay earns a perfect 10/10. The narrative provides a historical backdrop rooted in the events of World War II, allowing players to either follow history or rewrite it through their decisions. While the historical authenticity is commendable, the lack of a focused or character-driven storyline limits its emotional engagement. Narrative scores a 7/10 for its solid historical framework. Visually, the game opts for a functional design, prioritizing clarity over aesthetic appeal. The maps and unit models are straightforward and effective, though not visually striking. Graphics score a 6/10. The sound and music are serviceable, featuring period-appropriate tracks and functional audio effects. While adequate, the audio design doesn’t leave a lasting impression, earning it a 6/10. Replayability is a highlight of the game. With numerous nations to choose from, dynamic AI, and the freedom to shape the war’s outcome in countless ways, Making History offers virtually endless possibilities. Replayability easily earns a perfect 10/10. Innovation shines in the game’s integration of economic, military, and diplomatic systems. Features like resource scarcity, global trade, and dynamic geopolitical events set it apart from other WWII strategy games. For its creative approach and strategic depth, innovation earns a 9/10. In summary, Making History: The Second World War is a must-play for fans of World War II strategy games. Its exceptional gameplay, strategic depth, and endless replayability make it a standout title in the grand strategy genre.
