Very funny storyline, also has a lot of action and a bit of magic, and there's fireballs, fireballs are cool.

Lots of fun and I personally find this hilarious and the characters are surprisingly well written. If you don't like the excessive dialogue, there's an option to turn that off, too. Love the mechanic of using different characters with different abilities to progress and tackle certain bosses and enemies in different way. Same goes for leveling up and finding weapons, armor and accessories through exploration instead of grinding. The only cons I can think of is that the controls can be somewhat clunky because you're locked into some of the attack animations and can't cancel out of slides or dodges, and jumps carry horizontal momentum, limiting your ability to turn around in mid air. There should be a visual tell for false walls like Hyper Light Drifter's symbols that show the more observant player where secrets are.

An excellent little Metroidvania that I enjoyed from start to finish. My only complaint is that it was too short. Most definitely worth the $2.99 price tag.

EDIT: Now it works on Steam Deck. I'll update my review once I give the game a fair chance, but the very act of updating a very old title in order to make it Deck-ready in itself warrants a positive review in my opinion.

Entertaining, short, imperfect Metroidvania with a ton of heart. Don't listen to any of the naysayers. If you're into metroidvanias, this is definitely worth 4-8 hours of you time.

Decent metroidvania with simplistic graphics, plays alright with keys. For the circa 2 euro price it's worth it

An irreverent metroidvania. Some interesting mechanics. Combat feels ......OK..... seems a bit stiff, but still good.
