Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 11.14/day in the week to Jul 31 → 18.14/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Uncover the origins of organized crime in Mafia: The Old Country, a gritty mob story set in the brutal underworld of 1900s Sicily. Fight to survive as Enzo Favara and prove your worth to the Family in this immersive third-person action-adventure set during a dangerous, unforgiving era.
Enzo will do anything for a better life. After a brutal childhood of forced labor, he's ready to risk everything to become a man of honor in the Torrisi crime family.
His oath to the Mafia, with all the power, temptation, and hardship it entails, is a burning reminder of this simple truth:
Family Takes Sacrifice.
This thrilling narrative is brought to life by stunning visuals, cinematic storytelling, and the authentic realism that the critically acclaimed Mafia series is known for. Enzo's story unfolds in a time when skill with a stiletto blade was a deadly asset, a lupara sawed-off shotgun was a go-to firearm, murderous vendettas raged for decades, and mafiosi patrolled their protection rackets on foot, horseback, or behind the wheel of turn-of-the-century motorcars.

The rough-hewn beauty of Sicily's rugged countryside is a stark contrast to the grime of urban alleyways—but the treachery and violence of this gangland run just as deep. Rival families and their ruthless leaders wage unending turf wars in the shadows, hidden from the public eye. Trust is a fleeting rarity, and loyalties are worth killing for.

You're the antihero of this thrilling 1900s story, living out every tense moment of Enzo's descent into Sicily’s clandestine criminal underworld. Come face-to-face with a cast of unpredictable allies and cutthroat enemies in this classic crime drama, rich in period-authentic details that will immerse you in this treacherous Mediterranean setting.

Engage in life-or-death combat, be it up close with a blade or from afar with a variety of firearms. Ambush enemies for vicious stealth takedowns, or slice them up in close-quarters duels. If you prefer firearms, wield period-authentic handguns, rifles, and shotguns to overcome any odds and doggedly eliminate the Don's enemies.

Traverse a wide range of Sicilian environments, from underground crypts and crumbling ruins to bountiful vineyards and ornate opera houses. To reach your next target or make a hurried getaway, you'll need to gallop on horseback across cobbled streets and open fields, or speed down dirt roads in authentic turn-of-the-century automobiles.

The original Mafia is one of my all-time favorite PC games. I remember spending hours just testing out the realism at the time of its release, predating Steam. The Old Country finally went on sale enough for me to warrant a purchase ($30, same price I paid for the original when it first came out). I'm glad I got it, and I played it through in two days' time, but man, there were zero surprises. Every betrayal, every death, every plot point and motif, I called from the beginning. Upon exiting the cave for the first time, ~30 minutes in, I knew exactly how the game was going to end 20 hours in, and I was vindicated down to the very last detail when the time came. The game is still beautiful, it's fun, and the characters and story are engrossing, but I was hoping I'd be wrong about...anything. The first Mafia game blindsided me, as it did most everyone, and it still sticks with me to this day. This one? Eh. The characters are well-portrayed, so that will likely be what I remember, but I just didn't care all that much because it was incredibly easy to predict the entire plot at every corner. Considering the new format places a much heavier emphasis on the story, and puts the open world in the back seat, I didn't love this. Additionally, the very ending of the last chapter is just painful, in a bad way. I felt like I was playing a Resident Evil game with an obscure win condition, and yes, I just looked up the exact thing I had to do to beat the very end because the game made it impossible to discern what you could or couldn't do to begin with. Definitely left off on a terrible, frustrating note that had me just wanting the game to be over because it was no longer fun or immersive. There's no way they tested that ending with players; it very much felt like one of those mechanics that the devs built knowing themselves what to do, and just presumed the players will understand what they meant. I didn't. All that being said, I still recommend the game. Mafia itself is an enjoyable IP, and seeing "The Old Country" was interesting. I got this with the expressed intention of playing through them all chronologically, starting here. I see DLC coming out in August that very likely ties into the original Mafia; I'm looking forward to that but, tbh, that's what I came here for in the first place, and I don't feel like I got that at all. I'd give the game a 4/5, better than average, but it forces a focus on the story and the story was far too formulaic. I'll be returning with the DLC and exploring the Open World mode during that time; if it changes my opinion any, I'll update the review.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 30: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I`m not a huge Mafia fan, but I like this one. It isn´t a basic open world doing stupid side missions for 60 hours straight game and I think that´s good enough
Mafia the old country
very short expansion. if you want more free roam challenges then go ahead and buy it. the DLC was just 2-3 missions
Probably the worst Mafia game I've ever played. It was great up until the last few missions. If the game had ended 3 missions earlier this would've been a positive review, but clearly the game devs have a few screws loose. With a garbage ending such as that, I doubt I can even bring myself to play any future Mafia games. I bought this game at a 60% discount and I STILL want my money back.
