I was about to write a proper positive review after finishing the story but it just isn't possible. The game was running totally fine until La Festa chapter but now it constantly crashes with GPU error at one specific spot during the on-foot chase. And according to discussions, there is currently no solution and I am in fact lucky that I even got so far without crashes. Until this gets a solution, I really can't recommend the game. My beloved Hangar 13, I am truly sorry but that's the way it is.
Après avoir fait tous les jeux de la licence, c'est le meilleur à mon avis. On quitte enfin le pays de l'oncle Sam et ses villes qui puent la débauche pour la Sicile. Que c'est beau, clairement j'ai voyagé dans ce jeu et j'ai vraiment aimé la reproduction exacte de l'Italie. On sent qu'on veut t'immergé dans un univers qui est entre la pauvreté énorme du peuple et le pouvoir énorme ainsi que de la brutalité de la pègre. Le studio fait un choix innovent dans le scénario, car cette fois-ci c'est beaucoup plus cinématographique comme jeu. On a l'impression de regarder un film et ça dû aux cinématiques qui sont bien meilleures que dans les anciens opus. C'est aussi dû au gameplay qui est plus prenant et intense, grâce aux gunfights, les combats de boss au couteau, qui est un plus à ne pas négliger, et aux véhicules. Et parlent en des véhicules, enfin j'ai plus l'impression de conduire des autos tamponneuses. La conduite est beaucoup mieux réussie et elle nous aide à nous immerger dans l'environnement ( essayez de conduire lentement et regarder le paysages, si vous avez une mannette. vous allez adorer). En terme de contenu, faut pas s'attendre à beaucoup. Le studio à fait le choix de faire peu pour faire mieux. On a moins d'armes, moins de voiture, mais bon il faut pas s'attendre à sortir une Thompson en 1907. Je ne vous parle même pas du cheval, quelle bonne idée! Quant à l'histoire, c'est une bonne vieille tragédie grecque, comme Mafia 1 et 2. Clairement, ils inventent pas la roue, mais ça reste le meilleur scénario de la licence. [b]MAIS![/b] Si le jeu a beaucoup de bons points, il faut parler d'un mauvais point qui gâche beaucoup. Je parle, bien évidemment, de l'optimisation. Quel échec! J'ai d'abord cru que c'était à cause de ma vieille Rtx 2070, mais quand je vois que des personnes avec les meilleures configs ont le même problème, ça fait quelque chose. Il y a beaucoup de crash, chute drastique des fps ou même des artefacts qui sortent de nul part. Ça gâche l'immersion et le fun. Ce simple problème explique beaucoup d'avis négatifs. On peut nous sortir un jeu excellent jeu, mais dans un jeu on joue et si ça se joue mal, ça ne marchera pas. En résumé, c'est mon Mafia préféré, il a ses défauts et ses bon points et pour ça, je met un bon 8/10

"Easily the worst part of them all. A six-year-old child could write a better story. A huge number of technical bugs. And that DLC, I've never played anything worse. This garbage doesn't deserve a good rating. And Lord knows even the price is exaggerated."
