This is great if you like escape room type games! It's similar to the first one, but I think most of the rooms involve using the printouts even more than the first one, which I find really fun. This time the spells weren't words (they only used a few of the keys) so it's not as possible to accidentally figure out the spell without figuring everything out. But it also was slightly easier to make typos without realizing it since you have to be more careful to match what you've written down as the spell. I needed hints for some levels but sometimes the hints weren't clear. I also needed a walkthrough for a later level part and I have no idea how I would have figured it out on my own. But overall I was able to do most of the game myself and I loved it.
Madorica Real Estate 2 – The Mystery of the New Property is a puzzle-driven adventure developed by GIFT TEN INDUSTRY K.K. in collaboration with TUMBLEWEEDJP and published by GIFT TEN INDUSTRY K.K. Rather than following conventional digital puzzle design, the game builds its identity around an inventive blend of on-screen deduction and real-world interaction. Framed as the story of a real estate manager tasked with inspecting and cleansing haunted properties, the experience leans into a playful supernatural premise while centering its gameplay on thoughtful, hands-on problem solving. The defining feature of Madorica Real Estate 2 is its integration of floor plans into the puzzle structure. Before entering each property, players are given a detailed layout that can be printed or viewed digitally. This floor plan is not merely decorative; it is the core tool required to solve each stage. Clues discovered inside the property often reference specific rooms, orientations, or spatial relationships, encouraging players to annotate, fold, mark, or even physically manipulate the plan. This hybrid design blurs the boundary between digital and analog play, making the experience feel closer to participating in an escape room than solving traditional in-game riddles. Each of the twenty properties functions as a self-contained challenge with its own theme and set of mechanics. Early stages introduce players to the fundamental logic of interpreting symbols, aligning rooms, and cross-referencing clues. As the game progresses, puzzles become more layered and experimental. Some challenges rely on sound cues, others require color-based logic, spatial reasoning, or pattern recognition. The variety ensures that the gameplay rarely feels repetitive, as each property introduces a new conceptual twist that builds upon earlier lessons. Difficulty increases gradually, rewarding patience and encouraging creative thinking rather than punishing players with obscure or unfair design. The supernatural framing adds charm without overwhelming the cerebral focus. As the newly appointed manager of Madorica Real Estate, your role is to make haunted houses livable again by resolving the mysteries left behind by restless spirits. The ghosts themselves are more whimsical than frightening, lending a lighthearted tone to what might otherwise feel purely technical. This narrative wrapper provides context for each puzzle and gives the stages personality, even though the primary appeal remains the logic challenges themselves. Visually, the game maintains a clean and functional presentation. Environments are stylized but uncluttered, allowing players to concentrate on important details. The interface is minimal, reinforcing the idea that the floor plan is the central instrument for solving each mystery. Rather than relying on flashy effects or cinematic storytelling, the design prioritizes clarity and accessibility. A built-in hint system and optional explanatory videos ensure that players who become stuck can receive guidance without completely spoiling the satisfaction of discovery. One of the game’s strengths lies in its pacing. Some properties can be completed relatively quickly, offering brisk, satisfying victories, while others demand extended focus and multi-step reasoning. This balance keeps the overall experience engaging across its full duration. Because each stage is independent, the game also accommodates short play sessions, allowing players to tackle one property at a time without losing narrative continuity. That said, Madorica Real Estate 2 is clearly tailored to a specific audience. There is no combat, no branching narrative arcs, and no action-driven sequences. Players seeking dramatic storytelling or high-energy gameplay may find its deliberate pace too subdued. The enjoyment comes entirely from unraveling carefully constructed puzzles and engaging with the tactile floor plan mechanic. For those who appreciate escape-room-style challenges and analytical deduction, this focus is precisely what makes the game stand out. Ultimately, Madorica Real Estate 2 – The Mystery of the New Property succeeds as a thoughtful and innovative puzzle experience. By encouraging players to physically interact with floor plans and think spatially beyond the confines of the screen, it delivers a distinctive take on digital problem solving. Its blend of whimsical haunted-house themes and methodical logic challenges creates a cohesive and memorable adventure, offering a rewarding journey for anyone who enjoys carefully untangling mysteries one room at a time. Rating: 7/10
