MADO MONOGATARI began as a series of primarily first-person dungeon-crawler RPGs created by Compile for the MSX and PC-98 during the 80's and 90's. Since then, MADO MONOGATARI has made a name for itself with its unforgettable characters and dungeon-crawling gameplay. Notably, the renowned puzzle series Puyo Puyo is a spinoff of the MADO MONOGATARI series.
The Ancient Magic Academy.
An academy with a long, storied past, known as the place where The Great Mage learned and graduated. Students study here to become Mages themselves.
A girl named Fia, wanting to enroll in the Academy, makes a long arduous journey from her hometown, and manages to get in through her own luck.
She now tries her best to get through the many challenges of schoolwork, strict professors, and mysterious happenings, all in pursuit of her goal to become a Great Mage herself, while also making friends with other students in her class.
Embark on an adventure with Fia and her classmates as they explore the mysteries of the Ancient Magic Academy and uncover the legends of The Great Mage.
Crawl through randomly generated dungeons and engage in real-time, turn-based battles to help Fia level up. Use Magic Artes and collect Elemental Orbs to fill up your gauge and unleash Great Magic Artes. Manage your inventory and stats as you traverse floor after floor of wondrous treasures and magical monsters—including Puyo, Skeleton T, and others!
Keep track of unlocked abilities with the Grimoire, which logs Fia's Magic Artes. Complete Assignments, Help Quests, and earn Learning Points that can be used to unlock nodes in the Grimoire for Fia to learn new Magic Artes.
Take a break from dungeon crawling and explore the school grounds where Fia can check out the Bulletin Board for unlocked mini-games, interact with classmates, grow ingredients, cook curry for in-dungeon boosts, and more! Find out what other goings on await Fia along her journey!
In the Storage Room of the school grounds, use items found in dungeons to synthesize into new equipment for Fia. Better synthesis items can later be unlocked via the Grimoire.

A dungeon crawling game with a comedic plot. If you're looking for a slightly grindy game with a silly story featuring silly personalities, then this game is for you.
手抜きと省エネの極み！ こんな出来でもPS１の移植ゲーじゃないよ！ 主人公がアルルじゃないという、生まれた瞬間から忌み子のような本作。 意外なことにストーリーやノリは、案外悪くない。 最低限のドタバタコメディとして、最後までそれなりに楽しんでプレイできた 他の部分もまともならと、残念に思ってしまう 本作を一言でいうなら、究極の手抜きゲーだ ダンジョンは完全ランダムではなく、いくつかの固定マップがランダムに選ばれるだけ なので、連続で同じマップを攻略するという、草も生えない状況が多発 ダンジョンに落ちてるのは店売りの消耗アイテムと、武具アイテム用の 合成素材だけ。 当然真面目に探索する必要なんて不要！ 階段探して即降りするだけ！ 武器は各種たったの四つだけ。当然属性だの状態異常発生だの、そんな面白い要素は存在せず あるのは性能の上下だけ 武器に熟練度があり、MAXにするとパラが上がったりスキル覚えたりするシステムを用意しておいて これは酷いよ 敵もぷよはともかく、スケルトンやバンシーの色違いが大量に存在し 色違いを除けば、合計10ちょっとしか敵の種類がいないという驚きの事実 このゲーム、FCやGBの移植作じゃないんだぜ？ 最新ハードの作品だよ？ 戦闘システムもあまりにシンプル。ダッシュとか回避とかパリィとか そんな要素一切なく、殴ったり魔法撃ったりするだけ まるでファミコンのゲームプレイしてるみたいだぁ…… グラフィックも古臭いね……。一昔前のアニメやゲームみたい はっきり言って、現代のゲームとは覚えないしょぼさ こんな手抜きゲーに魔導物語の冠つけないでよ！ まあ、遊べないほど酷い作品じゃないから、マニアなら遊ぶのもいいよ…… 総合評価は58点
整体是一款轻松可爱、节奏舒缓的日系校园魔法题材冒险游戏，玩下来很放松，完全没有紧绷感。玩法上偏向探索 + 对话互动 + 轻度解谜，没有高难度战斗和复杂操作，主要就是在魔法校园里逛地图、和同学老师聊天、触发日常小故事，推进菲娅的校园生活。日常向的内容占比很高，魔法元素更多是氛围点缀，战斗和机关难度很低，新手也能毫无压力通关。角色画风软萌可爱，校园日常的氛围做得很细腻，剧情偏温馨治愈，围绕友情、成长展开，没有虐心和狗血桥段。美中不足的是玩法比较单薄，重复探索内容偏多，流程整体偏短，适合喜欢慢节奏校园日常、可爱画风、轻度冒险，只想休闲放松、不想肝操作的玩家，当成一段轻松的魔法校园小故事体验刚刚好。
