"Lost Alone Ultimate" is the definitive edition of the previous Lost Alone series of games. This edition contains all 3 previous Lost Alone game chapters, completely reworked and remastered. Going in blind without a guide, each chapter should take approximately 2-3 hours to complete. The chapters in the ultimate version are all connected and it all feels like one great mysterious story when fully completed. I completed the whole game in just over 7 hours. This game was created entirely by one person, which is quite the achievement considering the quality. + The story is large, concise, and unravels over the course of all 3 chapters. The way it all ends is epic and satisfying. The story doesn't veer off into weird unknown obscurity like many of these horror games do. + The ambience and atmosphere is fantastic. The graphics on 4K Ultra are done very well, very spooky. There are 2 house levels and one hospital level. + The sound effects are super creepy and well placed, effective at actually being scary. + Lots of awesome picture art in this game, literally, as the in game pictures hanging on the walls. Most of it is awesomely grotesque. Lots of interesting imagery to look at constantly as you walk around. + The puzzles fun and original. There are probably over 100 puzzles in this game. They are all well balanced, I never needed a guide. Finding the needed items hidden around everywhere and piecing the puzzles together was lots of fun. + Massive Jump Scares and scary events throughout. Extra creepy grotesque creatures to give you goosebumps and make you jump out of your skin. - A few items during my playthrough were too difficult to see in the dark. Make sure you look everywhere and clear out each room as you walk through the game. - During cutscenes, as they end, you might think the game is locked, because the screen freezes. However this isn't the case, you must click in the top right corner that says "Skip Cutscene" in small print to continue. - Pet Peeve: Can't turn off subtitles in this game, and they are large with a huge black backdrop. The game starts off a bit wonky for the first half hour or so, but when it gets going it REALLY gets going. Give it a chance. It just kept getting better and better the more I played. By the end of the third chapter and the story concluded I was in awe. Overall: 9/10

Ai art all over the place, ai voice acting as well possibly other influences in the story that the dev failed to mention on the steam page just look at the achievements to see what I am talking about. I understand this is a solo dev but honestly maybe using 1 or 2 pieces of art instead of having them randomly scattered throughout the areas is honestly ridicules. Some of the art used is very corny, no clue what they where thinking when adding it into the game it does not create atmosphere; It is just bizarre seeing they way they implemented it like the developer generated a bunch of pictures and just slapped them on anything and everything with no context what so ever. The puzzle aspects are neat but that is the only highlight the game has so take that of what you will, some gameplay elements like the ghost are so pointless like the ghost chasing you which creates no tension to which you will only encounter a max of 5 times is more a annoyance than a difficulty curve or having to place candles to reduce your stress meter and the candles respawn infinitely after 1 minute so its just creates wasted time standing around. Doesn't Matter Games honestly lives up to its name as this entire experience so save your $$$

Really enjoyed this game! Played it on a stream around a year ago and I still think about it. It's a good way to spend a few hours for sure :) I wish there was more like it - puzzle and mystery challenges and not just horror!

I gave this game an honnest shot, and completed it. So: Pros: A few good jumscares Cons: AI EVERYWHERE in this game, If you like women in nudes plastered on just about every single wall in the areas you explore (and nudity in other areas I won't spoil), cheap jumpscares and a thin, morally questionable storyline, then this game is for you.

Ich hab ehrlich gesagt was komplett anderes erwartet. Für mich sah das Game von den Bildern her mehr nach Trash bzw so nem 0815 Horror Game aus, aber dass das so ein Spiel wird, hätte ich nicht erwartet :D Ich fand die Story super, auch hier wieder ganz anders als erwartet mit einem guten Plott-Twist. Es gab viele Momente, in denen es mich richtig gerissen hat, aber auch genug Jumpscares, die einfach vorhersehbar waren. Trotzdem fand ich, dass die Atmosphäre eigentlich durchgehend solide war. Man muss viel suchen und läuft viel von A nach B und wieder zurück. Dafür hab ich manchmal etwas länger gebraucht, weil ich das Objekt halt ewig nicht gefunden hab. Typischer Tunnelblick eben. Das hat für mich aber nichts an der Atmosphäre geändert. Zur Atmosphäre beigetragen haben die Geräusche, die man immer wieder gehört hat, wie z.B. plötzlich ein Husten hinter mir. Die waren teilweise echt unangenehm :D Dass man die Dunkelheit vermeiden soll, fand ich interessant, war mal was anderes. Also Angst und Stress hatte der Gute auf jeden Fall. [spoiler] Es gibt pro Level die Funktion, den Schatten auszustellen, der einen ab und zu jagt. Das fand ich ziemlich angenehm, nachdem mir der Dude 2x hintereinander verreckt ist, weil der immer genau dann kam, wenn er eh schon kurz vorm Herzinfarkt war. Später gibts dann einen "Bossfight" mit dem Ding, unabhängig davon kann man den für das Level aber trotzdem ausschalten und der kommt nur für den Kampf. [/spoiler] Fazit: Die Story war viel tiefgründiger und irgendwo auch trauriger als gedacht, die Atmosphäre war durchgehend gut, die Rätsel waren nicht schwer und es war schon irgendwo unangenehm (positiv gemeint). Das Einzige, das mir nicht so gefallen hat, war das Pausenmenü. Es gibt nämlich keins. Du kannst zwar über Escape ins Menü, aber das Spiel pausiert nicht und sobald deine Kerze aus ist, wars das für dich. Ich kann das Game daher zu 100 % empfehlen und werd mir das DLC wohl auch noch holen :D

Devo ammettere che guardando i video su youtube sembrava un'altro di quei giochi "giostrina della paura" dove non ci sono altro che jumpscare senza nessun contesto e piazzati per far divertire i ragazzini, ho dovuto ricredermi in quanto la trama del gioco e' profondissima, tocca temi purtroppo reali e molto delicati, detto questo il gioco e' al cardiopalma, era dal sottovalutatissimo resident evil 7 che non avevo cosi tanta ansia in un gioco, ci sono certe inquadrature che fanno gelare il sangue, anche i jumpscare seppur sempre contestualizzati fanno saltare sulla sedia. Daniele con questo titolo ha dimostrato che per fare un gioco di ottima fattura non ci vogliono studi milionari con migliaia di persone ma solo una solida idea di base, le sbavature per me vanno in secondo piano, tipo i controlli da gamepad che ho dovuto ricaricare da menu' perche' ogni tanto il gioco se li dimenticava, per il resto, il gioco gira una favola, non si riesce a smettere di giocarlo perche' ogni nuovo elemento ti spinge ad andare avanti per scoprire il resto, bellissimo, gran bello schiaffone morale, complimenti davvero Dany
