My vote is more neutral than negative. Don't mistake this as an idler game, it's a rather active creatures collection one. The game has cute art. The sounds are a bit annoying. The options to decorate your space are a bit limited but fun... but things got a bit boring a bit fast. You have to keep an eye on the creatures that spawn, you have to pair creatures to hatch eggs and pray to the RNG gods you get the creature with the features you need (it takes too long). You gotta pet your cute critters so they give you money. You need money for everything so cheers in poordom.

8/10: I’ve got mixed feelings about this one. It’s tagged as an ‘idle’ game, but it’s really not idle at all. it needs way more hands on attention. I ended up trying it on my steamdeck (which isn’t fully supported), and somehow got hooked anyway. xD It honestly felt like I was playing a mobile game, constantly checking on my newly bred whimlings. Even though it’s not truly idle, it does require a lot of patience due to the whole whimling breeding mechanic. You’ll need specific combinations to progress through certain objectives, so expect a bit of trial and error. If you’re looking for an idle game, this probably isn’t the right fit~ but if you enjoy creature breeding and slow burn progression, try this game.

[h3]Милая фоновая залипалка про селекцию видов [/h3] Годная idle-игра про селекцию милых зверюшек. Во время прохождения улавливал вайб pokemon fusion, где так же можно скрещивать разные виды, получая в итоге новое уникальное существо с запчастями от обоих родителей. Вариаций скрещиваний огромное множество, есть возможность сделать и украсить свой сад. Темп игры спокойный и не напряжный. В плане реализации фоновой работы приложения - игра очень удобная и легко кастомизируется. Единственный минус относительная непродолжительность. Игра проходится достаточно быстро, а учитывая приятный геймплей, хотелось бы чтобы продолжительность была побольше. Однозначно рекомендую

Very cute game, I absolutely love all the little creatures and sprites I do really wish there was more content though you could do after completing the main areas and unlocking them Really all that's left to do is just combining and creating your favorite whimlings, which is just fine, I've had fun, but there's not a lot of incentive after that, or a reason to have the game open for long periods like a lot of other idlers There's no point to just collecting more crystals after a while too once you buy everything lol, if you buy out the shop and all upgrades, there's literally 0 point to gems other than to hoard them, which is kinda sad I think having some extra content would be really cool, especially since I thought the last end constellation thing would unlock a cool area but all it does is just give an achievement and sits there Overall, I do definitely recommend the game, though like alot of other reviews i've seen, I do agree, it's really not an idle game lol, other than if you idle for some eggs and crystals sometimes, but majority, I felt like I had to be there to listen for legendary traits (the jingle) But I did have a lot of fun, even with the limited content, and I still have decorating left anyway 10/10 game though Other than some minimal rage about waiting for the last trait to appear in Sakura, that took an unbelievably long amount of time for it to spawn compared to the other zones but it's chill

there is no creature collector idler like this one, everything else is just real animals 😔 but this one has cute little unique creatures! they're fun and make silly little noises!! i only wish it lasted longer.. PLEEAASE add more areas & creature parts... i love this game so much, i wish it had much more content!!! a couple QoL/ideas that would be nice are: - a way to assign certain breed pens a specific color instead of the individual creatures so you can tell which pens are for what quest - bulk buy items in the shop? - an upgrade to speed up the process of getting eggs - resize of UI and text to make it easier to read - an option to change the colors/saturation of the colors (specifically for the shapes you can assign to different quests.. The colors for the "green circle", "red square", and "blue triangle" were way too pale to me and i constantly got them mixed up! earlygame was confusing for this reason) - it'd be cool if we could pin the game window to the top of the screen instead of the bottom sometimes, though i realize this might not be easy - maybe an update to the way body-part slots function so you can have multiple of different types of parts? like cat ears and doe ears at the same time? - a way to change colors in palettes around, so a certain color is the main color instead for example. + also i noticed the butterfly body has missing pixels during the walk animation

Charmingly cute and quirky game. I really enjoy the random generation of the creatures, I love the visual design, and I found the gameplay very satisfying as someone who likes creature catchers/breeders. That said, as other reviews point out, this isn't reeeaalllyyyy an "idle" game. It takes quite a bit of attention (which is fine imo, but good to know going into it) at times, though I do imagine the more "idle" you are with it the longer the content of the game will last. At almost 15 hours I have completed most of the game, but I also played quite actively because I found the game very engaging sooooooo I took a hands on approach. Overall, I think it is worth the price and I enjoyed my time with it.
