Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Sep 4 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

litraly the biggest piece of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game that i have ever played in my entire life. my friend bought it for me JUST TO WATCH ME SUFFER. i didn't even buy the game myself but i want my money back and some compensation for the emotional damage this game has caused me. i get that the game has to be hard because of its relation to the anime BUT ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ HELL MAN. at least let me save the game in some clearly open area's, speaking off... WHY CAN'T I SAVE INSIDE A CAVE!?!?!? THAT'S LIKE THE ENTIRE 3RD LAYER I AM STILL TRYING TO CLIMB OUT OF HERE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ HELP ME PLEASE. but going back on track it would be nice if the great fault had some more places to hide from those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ FLYING ♥♥♥♥♥ other then that, i think the first and second layer are difficult but fair. BUT PLEASE REMOVE THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BUTTERLFLIES THESE YELLOW ♥♥♥♥♥ ANOY ME SO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MUCH. 0/10 would not play again i am still going to 100% it purely because my friend promised me 10 bucks if i did.

The children yearn for the abyss.
It is VERY clunky but it is a hidden gem if you like difficult and punishing games. My advice to new players is don't bother collecting a bunch of stuff as Riko because she is too dumb to craft anything anyways basically, also you don't get to keep the stuff you collect as Riko. I collected a ton of rocks and ♥♥♥♥ as her but I guess that stuff is lost forever. Also, weapon durability in this game is complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ so be prepared to have multiple weapons and to avoid unnecessary fights. hey riko are you ready to go hey riko are you ready to go hey riko are you ready to go hey riko are you ready to go hey riko are you ready to go hey riko are you ready to go hey riko are you ready to go OF COURSE IM READY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love Made in Abyss but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this has to be one of the most frustrating games I have played in a LONG time. Some of the controls are questionable at best and downright horrendous if you're an honest person - for example, why do interactions with mouse buttons work in the "items" tab but not in the "crafting" tab? The whole thing is beyond unintuitive. Combat sometimes feels clunky, your character swings towards nothing at times but that's honestly one of the smaller issues here. What the actual f are these enemy spawning mechanics??? It is one thing that things constantly spawn basically right next to me but who in their right mind thought it would be cool to have those butterflies flying at you all the time while climbing up somewhere? In addition, if you're stuck in some cave, you can't even save inbetween climbs and you get reset back to your last autosave if you die which to me happened a lot because of course you can also get stuck on those butterflies, causing you to run out of stamina and falling to your death. How fun. Edit: Additionally, after having spent even more hours, I've been locked in layer 3 multiple times because stuff like rocks that I pushed over were just straight up reset after I went to the next area, making it impossible to get back to where I cam from. On the topic of saves - WHY would the default respawn be the last autosave and NOT a newer, manual save? This has caused me some headaches during the story mode / tutorial part of the game... Overall, if these devs ever make another game, how about consulting some sort of UX engineer who can tell you how to not make your game the most frustrating software on the planet? I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this.
i wish i could have storage for this masterpiece, i needed to uninstall it for Gmod and 63 Gb of mods on it. but still, Made In Abyss is masterpiece as anime and as a game. 10/10
Buy it with a big discount (I did it on 85%). The game is not worth the full price at all. Not really sure why the dev team did this, but making the game so softlockable on the Hello Abyss mode is just shooting yourself on the foot. I'm pretty sure many players gave up on the "tutorial mode" before going to the "real deal mode". There are many places you can get completely stuck, not because it is grindy and tough but because of bad game planning and development. If you really want to implement a hunger dependency, either you give at least 1 choice in the whole current map to recover that or dont add this extra problem at all, or make most of the recipes not dependable of an ingredient you only have access to before going down? Making the player reload a previous save just because he can't climb walls anymore because of hunger inside the STORY MODE is just plain bad development. Want even more useless options? Make some food only restore stamina and not hunger, what a great idea!
