- transparent textures when you go over 120fps - any sound apart from voices randomly disappears after some cutscenes just.... how?

This game was terrible on release. I remember so much hype leading up to the game, then when I played it, I couldn't believe how bad it was..... Fast forward to 2026: Playing in 4k at 120fps with a few light mods to get rid of of DOF and a few other things - This game not only holds up to new titles - it blows them out of the water. You don't need texture packs because the devs hand crafted meshes and textures that translate perfectly in 4k. With an OLED monitor in HDR the lighting looks scary realistic. Now, the combat.... I can't think of another game that comes close to the fluidity of Mad Max. You can time counters until the last millisecond, giving you the feeling of really taking on a group effectively. You can really feel the power behind the blows. The sound is realistic, and satisfying with everything from walking on different surfaces, to the difference between a meaty fist, or a bat to the face. The only problem I have is that it could have been expanded upon, with many more combos, and counter moves, etc. Hopefully one day we get the mod love this classic masterpiece deserves.
