Pretty fun and its what you expect. The dev team has been working on this game pretty consistently and is frequently updating the community about upcoming feature, additions, and even roadblocks that are hindering progression. If you like mechs you will LOVE the sheer amount of customization this game offers.
Gameplay is still a little iffy, but the builder is where it's at!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game has a level of customization that lets Mecha-fans like myself very happy. You can essentially bring any angle of creativity into the fight! I can't wait to see where this game goes!
If you like building Gundam model kits or are an enthusiast of all things mecha, don't overlook this game. The level of customization the game allows is quite surprising, but can be slightly daunting when first learning how customization works. It takes some patience and a willingness to learn the best methods for using the build interface in order to get really good at customizing, but anyone can do it. PROS - It's Mecha. - Customization is great for expressing your creativity, and you get to see your creations in action when playing missions. - The menus are easy to navigate and if it isn't something self-explanatory, the Help menu is a good place to start. - Combat is pretty fun. Snappy controls, melee combat is especially fun once you get the hang of the timing. - Tuning versatility is extensive. You can tune your builds to suit a very wide variety of combat styles. - Story missions and development of builds to maximum level is well laid out. By the time you've upgraded to the highest level systems, it's near the end of the story missions. - The active community members in both the Developer's and the Community Discord servers are nice people. They're informative and helpful, and many of them are great builders who share screenshots of their builds in the Discord. Their creations always seem to inspire me and teach me new ways to customize. - We're (patiently) waiting for more features to be released. The devs are working hard to bring us more accesories for customization, two new leg types, and a few other things that promise to be awesome. CONS - Customization is not the easiest thing to learn at first. It requires patience, a strong desire to make the best-looking builds you can, and some compromises - because sometimes, there isn't a perfect part for what you're trying to achieve. - Customization is a TIME DUMP - be prepared to lose substantial chunks of your day to it, especially when you get inspired. - The story is good(ish) if you take the time to read the text narration and dialogue, but there are some odd word and tense usages, misspellings, and grammatical errors throughout the English translation. - The game, as of the time of this review, is still a little buggy after full release this year. - The PvP feature is still, as of the time of this review, unavailable. Multiplayer is still restricted to private co-op games. - We're (patiently) waiting for more features to be released. - We can't use two guns simultaneously yet. For me, the pros far outweigh the cons. This game was an excellent purchase - I rate it a 9.5/10
The story is that monsters have largely destroyed the world and mercenary companies equipped with mechs head out into the wilds to protect the last bastions of society from these beasts. But not all is as it seems as an unknown force is plotting against humanity in it's most desperate hour. It's a simple story, and you've likely seen something similar, but it's serviceable. It's pretty obvious, unfortunately, that the dialogue was written by someone unfamiliar with the English language. You'll still likely understand what's being said, but wonky grammar and "Wall-o-Text" will likely be a bit grating. The core gameplay is rather simple. I don't want to delve too deeply into combat; just know that while it's simple, it's influenced a lot by how you customize your mech. What melee style you use is determined by what Weapon Head and Grip you use. Your missile pods behave differently depending on what particular pod you equipped. Guns as well act differently based on your barrel, grip, stock, etc. You can have a ton of fun experimenting with different setups, or just stick with your favorites. The choice is yours. But speaking of choice, I'll briefly mention the customization. You have TONS of options after playing for a short while, and things are constantly being unlocked for you along the way. It's all cosmetic, at least as far as the mech itself is concerned. If you really put your mind to it, you could make almost any mech you wanted, but it will take work. The customization in this game is the selling point. The combat isn't bad and gives you a meaningful way to engage with your creations. It's overall a fun time, and any mecha fan should at least try it.
If you've played armored core then you have spoiled any experience you may have gleaned from this game.. unless of course you have the turbo autism to sit around customizing every little piece on your mech. I could've kept this game to see how many missiles i could strap to my gundam, but I could also just play armored core and know i am going to have a far greater experience. Came here expecting armored core for weebs. Received a game ripped straight from playstation dreams. 5/10
Like everyone else, we all enjoy to create our Mecha with so many customization. It is one of those games which the devs implemented so much in the creation, that when you go into gameplay, this is where everythings is fallen. I finished the game and I grinded almost all the researchs by doing, over and over, the same missions, not just for the materials and mech parts, but getting the money because this is what I was missing the most when unlocking something. I almost feel that I need to do over 200 times the last mission to finish fully my last remaining trees in the Architecture tab (This one is the pain just because how many branches they are, seriously.) And to be honest, I barely see the use of them due how the gameplay is, at this point. And speaking of gameplay, it is shallow, even at the end of it. Even if you have build, let say for example a full range mecha and you have almost everythings maxed out in targeting, the physical guns, especially the assault rifle, can litterally and fully misses a target who is simply, believe it or not, side WALKING at slow speed. I found this problem when I was dealing against some other mechas during a mission and they just going side trusting at slow speed, even at target lock on them. Remember, I was almost maxed out in Accuracy. And speaking of Target lock. this game has a frustating targeting system. On a big boss from afar, it is good. But the close you are with your target, the junkiest the camera goes. So if you are someone who is targeting often and you go melee, this is getting a hell hole upon looking around or sometimes your camera will be too close until you can't see anythings. Then the other aspect is the Coop Multiplayer. When I tried with a friend, the game itself went full hard, which we died alot, along with desync and lagging. While other games such as Deep Rock as coop, we never encountered these problems. And after its release, we didn't bothered to test it out as my friend played less than two hours before uninstalling it. It is a shame which I wanted to try out if they fixed it. But I guess I can't say much other than our experiences during the Early Access. It would have been better if it was like another story but coop just to play together with a friend. But with the Arena hunts only and a few of them out, I know that they had a small time to make these. In the end, MASS Builder got the reputation of like some Mecha/Robots games have/had so far: Very good in customization, but the storyline and the gameplays are shallows. I don't mean in comparison of Gundam Breaker 4 or Armored Core series in that regard. But for a small company, they really nailed on the customization, in exchange of the poor gameplay, the poor story and the very limited Coop multiplayer missions that MASS Builder has to offer, unfortunately.
The mecha customization is great, the story and controls meh. Would recommend if you wanna create some mecha.
游戏不错,但语言本地化差评,没有完全汉化,并且有些机翻
