There will be mining, fishing, animal catching, and other things to enjoy. And in Multiplayer you are not tied to your Host’s location, you are free to play your way, even in their game. You can be the team’s miner, searching for the best ores, and trade them to your friends for their precious GOLD!

Save the towns people and use gathered resources to help them rebuild to their former glory.
The Blacksmith, Armorer, Arcanist and Chef can level up as well, granting the ability to sell and craft better equipment

Centuries ago, a primal magic surged from the earth's depths, fueling empires but twisting it's inhabitant and the world into corruption's grasp. Forests blackened, skies bled shadow, and rivers turned to poison.
But a less prevalent radiant energy was also born, and hidden within pure warriors, the Luminaries. Armed with the light, their goal is to reclaim the land, hurling back the blight.
Yet the Luminary's gift is double-edged, immortality that tempts the soul. Every 80 years, Luminaries must yield their light to a successor, or risk eternal decay. Defiant ones hoard it, swelling into godlike tyrants of darkness, the Ebonarchs
As a new Luminary, rise in power. Shatter the Ebonarch's abyssal power source to strip their immortality, and strike them down. Together with your fellow Luminaries, push back the Darkness with Light.

I absolutely love what this game is so far. It was actually shocking how visually pleasing it was off the hop, and how smooth my character played. However, this really is early early early access. I'm stoked to see what is comming and how this game develops. There is so much potential here for a perfectly simple yet detailed game. I will be checking in after every spot in the roadmap. It's fun and the vibes are great.
Game is in Alpha there isnt much to do more like a treasure hunt and kill goblins....

Awesome game! Have I only played 1.3 hours so far? yes, but once i get back from my trip and my crew can play again we are picking up right where we left off. This is the world I've been longing for. We had a BLAST! Idk who made this game but I do know he is a genius.
I was one of the privileged ones that got to play in beta test. I played the demo before that. Yes, there is a lil jank. What EA game doesn't have it? That said, for the content there currently is, I myself have found very little bugs. I have enjoyed what there is of the game greatly, and I am looking forward to more of what is to come. I just wish I could help the Devs more. This is a 2 person Dev team, a buncha Beta testers, and sprinkled with hopes and dreams. The game feels good. The freedom is great. The Devs interact and listen on their Discord. Also, if you have a think against gnomes, this is the game for you. The game also rewards you for exploration & being sneaky/looty. Yes, this game Rings with promise, yes, Rings with potential and it is right under our feet.
If you're looking for something new that's early access. It is bare bones but it runs great and feels great as well. It will be nice to see how this game evolves over time.
found the game interesting and fun, but when left to find all hidden object lost interest as climbing vague and left me questioning can you, cant you do it climbing areas need to be made little more easy to identify. for this reason I may not continue with it. all best for future hope it woks out.
Wonderful game I've been waiting for while now. It is a beautiful game to explore. The combat is satisfying and easy to learn, but it can be challenging in Tier II, so it's still engaging. The map is beautiful and interesting to explore. So far we have camps to raid, gnomes to shatter and darkness to purify. The music is also very good! Of course, it is still in early access, so content is reasonably limited, but what we have is amazing and I am sure what we will get will be as well.
A fun, cut-sceneless romp in a world with lots of future promise. Launching with a co-op mode so you can just go wreck goblin's with friends/family is a big plus. And the price is right! As of now, there isn't much story in Luminary, but what is there works well. Sword play with shields, bows, mining, and male/female protag options with "LOTS" to offer (winkyface). The controls are simple; the world is basic in the first day of early access. Lots of running without much in between camps & caves you can extinguish all life in. The purpose of the camps & caves: LOOT and the occasional gnome easter egg. Around the idle are towers, but to get in those towers you must "cleanse" magical trees. The trees are purple; you need to turn them gold. Not much resistance is around these trees, and not much resistance is around the towers. In any case, once you cleanse a tower, you can get to the shielded camp in the area where you'll fight a few more minions. From that you get a sword to cleanse. There are 3. In any case, the game's minions are very narrow in types. As of now I've only seen goblins and rock creatures. In any case, it's got solid bones. Here's hoping they keep working on game depth, creature types and a semblance of storyline.
The concept is great. if they pull this off it will be a really special game that i will spend a lot of time playing. however, Its way too little even in early access. character customization is very limited, allowing you to pick your race (elf, giant, dwarf, fey) your hair style and your makeup but lacking any further customization. combat is fun if a little clunky, but the world is exceedingly empty. the tutorial is bare bones making it easy to miss the pop-ups which tell you how to play. there is no explanation of how to interact with the town, leaving you to wander the empty world hoping to stumble on something that might point you in the right direction. the lack of speaking characters also worries me. i hope there will be a decent story line to go along with the exploration. This game can very easily be good, it wouldnt take a whole lot. it can be much better than good if it gets the right attention. Extra: Fishing would be fun Im not comfortable with how the developer allegedly responded to a question about queer rep, i dont know why some devs cant just say, "we wont have any romance in the game," instead of being rude about it. Also not for nothing but representation doesnt have to be romance. it can literally just be a lady npc that has a wife queer people exist outside of the bedroom ya weirdos. Ive already decided im not going to refund, im hoping this dev can be more concerned about the state of their game than they are with whos bumping whom and it wont be an issue, but i could not in good conscience leave a review that didnt mention this. burried treasure would be cool. Body sliders so i can make a fat little fay creature. let me have magic from the start of the game (or if thats already in game make it easier to find cause i have not seen any spells anywhere) Tldr; fun but jank combat and not much else.
At the moment I have played 117 Minutes of this game, with trickyskunkbunny on Twitch. SO far my honest review is the whole thing looks amazing, the world created is Beautiful. I Love the environment. The Goblins are amusing and the Golem's jump scare me every time. I would love to see some more creatures running around. The Only malfunction I have to report so far was I was on a rocky cliff and fell into the landscape but just returned to the nearest tree and recovered.
