About
Evelius’s Tower awaits you, adventurers. Do you have what it takes to make it out alive?

Lucky Tower Ultimate is an absurd adventure that will bamboozle you in its difficulty, while enchanting you with its absurdly funny charm. Be prepared to perish at the hands of the uncompromising Tower's traps and monsters countless times before you can even think about escaping to the local village - and only then can progression be earned.

Embark on a quest with the delightfully narcissistic knight, Von Wanst, as he finds himself zapped into the perplexing Tower with no armor, weapons, or clear path to escape. Seek aid (and extra firepower) from a lovable cast of quirky companions. With each death, Von Wanst is transported back to the top of the randomly generated Tower to start again, ensuring that no two journeys are ever the same.
Lucky Tower encourages improvisation, mastery, and learning as you play. Experiment with puzzles and enemies, and take your time to learn the twists and tricks of the Tower if you want to survive.

Lucky Tower Ultimate is infused with slapstick humor and a hand-drawn aesthetic, making each run feel like an immersive cartoon. As a continuation of the cult classic Flash game series about choosing between three mysterious doors, the Lucky Tower beckons seasoned fans and new players alike to experience the unique pleasure of getting all geared up... just to slip on a banana peel and die.

From broccoli to dead enemies, everything in the game can be used as a weapon
A village for commerce, meta-progression, and a customizable home awaits you after you escape the tower
Companions and enemies react to the way you treat them - friends turn to foes if you step on their toes, and villains can open doors for you if you help them out along the way
Journey through the tower to find 200+ items, ranging from Golden Armor to a honk horn, and 40+ traps, like barrels of dynamite and bee hives
For those who seek to truly become the ultimate knight, the True Ending and final boss fight will be added for the launch of version 1.0!

Randomly generated levels and haircuts keeps every playthrough fresh
Hand-drawn 2D graphics that feel like an immersive cartoon
Full voice acting makes for kickin’ times and smashing punchlines
Multiple ways to exit the tower, including a dark and atmospheric Cave
Learn and experiment without limitations (or hand holding)
Unlock companion quests by escaping the tower with them by your side

Everytime I think I've seen or understood the premise of the game it just expands.
This game made me feel the excitement and wonder that I had not felt since the time I clicked a cool looking flash game on the bottom of my screen in Armor Games back in 2010. Truly whimsical. Only thing that can elevate it is an addition of coop.
jeu très cool mais très difficile, la mort vient de partout MDR
It's been such a long time since I liked a game so much, Lucky tower is incredible, the humor, the art style, the ganeplay, the lore, everything is perfect and I wish I could experience this game for the first time over and over, I'm going to get all the achievements for sure (Also don't listen to the negative rewiews, most of them are people that are horrible at videogames and are complaining about the difficulty lol)
I have no idea why I slept on this game for so long. It’s utterly amazing. It’s so stupid, so funny, and so much fun. My biggest complaint is now my kids (8 and 11) are obsessed with it and now I can’t play it. Might have to get them the Switch version so I can keep playing. My 11 year old beat the tower before me! Anyways, if you haven’t played this game yet just buy it and you won’t regret it.
Shimmy shimmy wham shimmy wham-o!

Evelius beni kulede tutmaya devam edebilir ben onun kulu ve kölesiyim. Buruşuk pencelerine her gün bakim yapar derisine her gün masaj yaparim, tüylerini kabartir, cübbesini ütülerim. Yeter ki Karadenizli cocuklarimizi kulenin en görkemli manzarasina sahip balkonunda kucağımda tutarken yanimda olsun.
Really fun game that brings back childhood memories. Looking forward to see the game developers add fruit armor and accessories in the future updates.
Lucky Tower Ultimate: 95.1h | 100% Achievements (99/99) Completed | Recommended
"A great armor I wore to war... as my grandchild would say." — Von Wanst, professional hero and toilet enthusiast.
Achievement Breakdown
Grindy Achievements: Yes (~8).
What is Lucky Tower Ultimate About?
Lucky Tower Ultimate is a dungeon-crawling roguelite where you assume the role of Von Wanst, an amazing knight who used the wrong toilet and got teleported to a sinister tower where everything wants to end his adventure prematurely. Using anything you can find inside, and improvising a lot, you have to fight your way down the tower and free yourself from the clutches of the evil mage Evelius. Pros: - Stunning cartoonish hand-drawn art with attention to small, subtle details. - Genuinely funny writing and excellent voice acting - Great soundtrack design, mixing medieval ambience with an original twist that only improves the atmosphere - Really addictive. The "one more run" feeling is really strong in this game. - Developers are actively updating the game; the roadmap goes past 2027 with a lot of new additions to come. Cons: - Not for everyone due to difficulty. You will die a lot. A LOT - A few achievements require heavy grinding across dozens of runs - High learning curve; not everything is explained. You'll need to look things up in guides or forums - Game still has a few bugs that force you to reset the run, making you start from the beginning all over again (More about the pros and cons in the in-depth review part below)
Should You Buy This Game?
Yes. Sale or full price, it doesn't matter. Lucky Tower Ultimate is a really creative and addictive roguelite. If you loved The Longing's art, and wanted to see more, this will scratch that same itch while letting you experience a completely different feeling. If you love the genre, this is a must-play. But be aware, you will die, die, and when you feel you got good enough at the game you will die again.
In-Depth Review

Visuals
Studio Seufz continued with their characteristic style. The characters and environments are all drawn in a cartoon style, with heavy black outlines and vivid colors, like a comic book coming to life. It not only matches the game's humor but adds to it, making for a really good aesthetic overall. It does a good job depicting each character's personality and the environments you go through. If you spent 400 days waiting for your shadow friend in The Longing, Lucky Tower Ultimate brings you back home.
Soundtrack
The same music team behind The Longing returns here, and the soundtrack is just as impressive. It matches the medieval-fantasy setting while adding that unique Seufz twist. While in the dungeon you'll feel the dark and uncanny atmosphere, and at the same time you'll feel a "silly" element on top of all that I can't explain. When you finally leave the tower and arrive in the village, it does a 180, giving you the whole remote village vibes. And the most important part: in a game where you die so many times, they did an amazing job making you never feel bored of it. You'll be at the 1st floor for the 20th time and still vibing to the songs.
The Game
You have no health bar. You have teeth. Lose them all and you're dead. So pay attention to your mouth. For combat, you can equip armor to sustain a few hits before it breaks, and you can carry a variety of items in each hand individually. About the tower: for each run the layout changes a bit, but not completely. I'd say it changes about 80%, but some patterns are still there for each floor, which you'll memorize as you play and repeat. The tower is full of traps that will definitely kill you, apart from the occasional enemies and more traps that will kill you. Did I mention that everything in this game will kill you? When you finally manage to escape the tower, you have access to the village, which works as a game hub. There you can deposit the money from your runs, sell equipment, talk to the townspeople, and get yourself a home where you can save items for future runs, giving you a head start next time. An important thing to mention: you only have access to the village when you leave the tower. If you don't manage to leave, you can't access the village at all. The game still has a few bugs, and bugs that sometimes make it impossible to continue the run and force you to reset. It happened to me a few times, which made me close the game instantly and start another game. But luckily the gameplay loop is so fun that I couldn't stop playing. The developers are also very active on Discord and are always fixing bugs, which is a good sign.
Completionist Tips
- Learn how to use the balcony: each run you can throw up to 3 items outside of the tower, that you can pick up when you finish your run. It works with all items; money pouch, potions, weapons, anything. Just make sure it's not more than 3, because it will reset the count if you do. Another important thing: if you die, the items disappear, so you have to throw new items off the tower again. - Utilize the passive income in the bank to your advantage. Save 200 coins in the bank as soon as possible and don't spend it. Always keep 200 coins stashed because you will receive the maximum interest rate each time you complete a run and visit the bank, which is 20 coins. This is incredibly useful and will help you to get the other money-related achievements quicker. - Always try to sell different items in the pawn shop. Each item you sell gets saved in the shop to buy later, and the vendor pays more for new items compared to items you've sold before. Repeated items have their price reduced by 85% while new items can be sold for the full price. - Fix the pipe system as soon as you can. It is a very useful method to get one extra item outside the tower.
Conclusion
Lucky Tower Ultimate is basically a test of your endurance and patience. I really don't know what the developers did here, but the more you die, the more you want to learn about the game and get yourself out of the tower. Just to try it one more time and be frustrated again that you died to a bee. I love the medieval atmosphere and the really bad puns this game has. It is way different when compared to The Longing; it's so upbeat and funny, which makes it stand out in its own way. And I'm just talking about the game in general, not even mentioning the gameplay. I already have 95 hours in the game and still haven't completed it 100% (even though I got all the achievements). So you have a lot of things to do and complete, especially if you are a completionist regardless of the achievements. Now if you'll excuse me, I will go back to admiring my golden statue in between my jail-breaking sessions...
