About
Lucky Shot is a roguelike mag-builder FPS where precise shooting meets wild buildcrafting. Master different weapons, stack Holos, arrange special bullets, and combine charms, energy drinks, and target upgrades into absurd, run-breaking combos. Land clean shots, grow huge multipliers, and push the score until the run breaks wide open.
Shape each run around the tools you find. Reach the required score, defeat the bosses, and keep the run alive as every choice changes what your next shot can do.
➤ 150+ Holos that stack, synergize, and bend the rules in different ways
➤ 12 different weapons, each with a unique playstyle that changes how you approach every run
➤ Multiple special bullets for your mag that define your build and shape each run
➤ 15+ bosses that test both your aim and your build
➤ 16+ charms that stay with you throughout the run and trigger special effects
➤ 15+ energy drinks with side effects that can save a run or wreck it completely
➤ Multiple special target types that let you influence what spawns next. The range is yours
Each stage pays tribute to a different era, with its own visual identity and soundtrack.
You do not need to be an FPS expert. Lucky Shot is designed for shooter and deckbuilder players alike: strong aim can push a build further, while smart synergies and magazine planning can turn every shot into something spectacular.

A great combination of aim trainer and something like Balatro. I don't have great aim, but with the right holos and stuff you can reach ridiculous scores, loads of possibilities for pretty much endless builds. Also the devs are very active and responsive to community feedback. Join the discord!
Fun!

It's said to be accessible for people with poor aim (like me!) by making strong builds. So despite being pretty below average in FPS I decided I could at least try it out. The first difficulty feels so easy that you can do almost anything and still win. But the second and beyond has felt totally insurmountable, I've tried many times but rarely get beyond the 2nd stage on the 2nd difficulty before I just can't keep up and lose. I even lose on the very first stage sometimes... It's really frustrating and it stopped being fun a while ago. I'm not good at aiming. Not at all. So I don't expect to beat every difficulty, obviously. But yeesh... I can't even beat the second difficulty... After about four hours of trying I decided it's just not going to work out. I know there's a cheat menu in this game for people as bad as I am. But it does feel pretty bad that I'm struggling so bad I have to turn on a cheat menu for anything past the first difficulty. I know all of this is my own skill issue. It's not the game's fault that I wasn't fast or accurate enough. And it's not the game's fault I seem to be in the weird spot where I think the first difficulty is humiliatingly easy and the second is way too hard. I understand this game's concept of 'deckbuilder roguelike + FPS' simply can't accommodate for everyone, unfortunately it seems I am one of those few who fall through the cracks. But this is one of these rare times when I wish steam had a "Maybe" option. If you like FPS or have at least average aim you will probably enjoy it a lot. The game is interesting conceptually and I really enjoyed the onboarding process during the first few runs. The actual synergies available are quite fun to work with. EDIT: I'm changing my review to positive because I decided it's not fair to the developers to give a negative review just because I wasn't good at it. I'm leaving the rest of it as is because my thoughts are mostly the same however.
The game is absolutely amazing, the whole rouge like mechanics, Duck Hunk vibe and aesthetics, aim training has never been so fun before. The challenges are a really fun aspect and i love the combinations from the vending machine. My only problem is i had struggles with stutters originally, but switching to Vulcan fixed them, thank you to the Devs for the fast reply and fix. I absolutely adore this game and will be absolutely recommending it to all my friends and hope it gets as big as possible so more players can play it and they too can have the same amazing time I'm having playing this game. Heres to the next run shooters!

Balatro with guns. Seriously. Lucky Shot is one of the most unique games I've played in a long time. It's got that incredibly addictive, “just one more run” feeling that makes Balatro so hard to put down, but it takes that formula and throws guns, shooting, and its own unique twist into the mix. I went in not really knowing what to expect and ended up completely hooked. If you enjoy roguelikes, deckbuilders (or mag builders in this case haha), or games where you can build ridiculous combinations and see how far you can push a run, you absolutely need to check this out. I also made a video showing off the game if you want to see it in action: 👉 https://www.youtube.com/shorts/q5LMJPBP3dM Definitely worth checking out!
Balatro with guns perfect game!
