About

Sir Solomon and the saviors of light depart Castle Cornelius to free Princess Tsuna from the grasp of the evil Devil Lord!
But the knight is worried... what if after being freed, the princess falls in love with one of his friends instead of with him?
So he does what anyone would do when blinded by love, and ditches his friends!
Solomon ventures into the Devil Lord's castle alone, vowing to make the princess his.
LABS and Matt Kap present Lovish, an outrageous 8-bit-styled action-adventure game! Venture through a series of bite-sized rooms, slicing up monsters, collecting items and getting to the exit! After exiting each room, enjoy a short event scene, in which anything could happen! Will you find an item? A random encounter RPG fight? Will the world get destroyed? Find out by conquering each room of the Devil Lord's castle, one challenge at a time!

50+ fun levels to play through, each with multiple objectives!
Wacky randomized event scenes between levels with hundreds of outcomes! You never know what you're gonna see next!
Collect a variety of items to upgrade Solomon's abilities, or expand the game in meaningful (and unmeaningful) ways!
Spend your pennies (in-game currency to be clear, no microtransactions here) in the in-game shop!
100+ characters, some of which were designed by world-famous manga artist Ryusuke Mita (Dragon Half)
An exciting, 20+ tune soundtrack by Matt Kap (Castle In The Darkness, Astalon: Tears of the Earth)
Beautiful human-artist-made pixel art! Even the in-game AI art is drawn by a human person!
More secrets than ever before! (But this is the first game in this series, so that doesn't mean much, I guess.)
Unexpected guest characters
And lots more!
So please, be a good friend, and help Solomon rescue the princess!

Nice and breezy little action platformer, great music and pixel art, and between stages there is a huge variety of random little cutscenes that sometimes affect things, and sometimes just have the strangest cameos of known characters
Great game really enjoying it.
Very good game. The only problem, in my opinion, is the level, which requires time and depends on RNG to pass. but everything else was flawless
I just finished playing Hollow Knight: Silksong, which is constantly, unrelentingly oppressive. The game is filled with cramped, dark tunnels; boss fights are brutal and runbacks are punishing; and terrible things happen to good characters. I enjoyed my time there, but at the end of the game, it felt like maybe the world would've been better if I hadn't finished it. Lovish, in comparison, is a breath of fresh air. The soundtrack is energetic, the graphics are bright and cute, and its attitude is constantly tongue-in-cheek. Don't get me wrong, it's still challenging, but levels are short and quick, and when you die you can just immediately try again. Completing a level is punctuated by hilarious cutscenes. It's fun to watch Solomon get wrecked because he deserves it. This is a delightful palate cleanser, and I feel like I've gotten through a pretty good amount of the game at this point, but I can tell I've still got a lot of secrets to find, and I'm eager to jump back in and see what terrible things are going to happen next.
I really loved playing this retro-style platformer (on Steam Deck)! Only the trailers have narrator/voice acting, but I like it this way! I preferred the cleaner look for the game, I really happy for this game setting! Also, getting the good ending and 100% could take quite longer to acquire... 200 lives/10
It's a nice bit-sized platformer. It's very charming and very funny. The pixel art and music suits the game perfectly.
Un juego con mucho carisma sus mecánicas son solidas y tiene montones de situaciones divertidas muy recomendado.
Fantastic single-screen puzzle-platformer, with a carefully managed difficulty curve through challenge addition (new enemy patterns and level design tricks), unlocks that expand your moveset, and additional objectives to complete in each level. The rhythm is excellent, each level taking barely a few seconds, so there's a constant push forward to see "what's next" or "what we could do differently" when replaying a level. It's all excellently paired to dynamic chiptune and an aesthetic+humor that reminds me of Dr.Slump, keeping the whole thing very light and humorous. All in all: an excellently breezy "single playthrough" that's satisfying on its own, coupled with an additional layer of unlocks that keep you going for a while if you intend to see it all and grab every crown and moon. Hotly recommended.
