Game was left to die without any updates or communication....
Just played this and had to leave the game. I was getting so sick. That is rare for me. I was too high in the seat of the car. The dev should just make us sit in a truck or lifted vehicle like a hummer or something to compensate. The steering is weird too. Instead of using a grab and go method it is slide fingers on track pad. It would have been easier to have left controller steer with arrows forward/backwards/turn left/turn right and the right controller arrow up excellerate and down arrow brake. Why the complicated method I do not know. I was excited about this after some good reviews but I have to rate this down and see if the steering can be done better and have options to grab with triggers or use an arrow method. VR users need options for everything because we have so many different physical abilities or inabilities and ages as well as different PC Specs so every game runs differently for everyone. I am giving this a thumbs down because I could not even steer the car effectively before getting very VR sick. This game wil be good I guess but until I see more I spent my money on a dud. Watch this one though. Come back after a couple updates and see what it has going for it. I am playing on HTC VIVE/GTX 970/FX 8320/16 gigs of RAM.

I bought this game to help support the dev in hopes that they would continue to flesh this out into a game. Unfortunately, it looks like the devs have left this unplayable mess to die. No updates and no communication. There is nothing to buy at this time and it doesn't look like there will be anytime soon.
A buggy mess, that could and should be made into a wonderful game eventually! But at this time it is not it! Driving is very buggy and at times totally uncontrollable, very annoying! No way to stop the car completely without messing around with accelerate/decelerate! What made you think to put th restart button on the remote control! Absolutely dreadful mistake, 2 times i played the game, both times i got further along and accidentally pressed the options button which automatically restarts the game from the beginning making me loose all my progress! Remove this restart button and put it as an option in a pause menu! Getting out of the car in vr (off your seat in real life) is okay to do but then when you walk and teleport around the ground then it is almost impossible to go back into the car in vr and into your real life seat. Would really like to change my review and recommend the game, hopefully some updates in the future can fix some of the points i mentioned above.
It's just not ready to play yet. You'll be disappointed..
Early, buggy, but scary! It's the first time I've genuinely flinched while in VR and tried to defend myself with the controllers - even though I knew it was coming and obviously wasn't real! I've played all of the other various zombie games etc., and although this is nowhere near as polished or realistic as most of those (yet), the scene and atmosphere setting is done just right. A tense build up, and then a moment of acute tangible terror. I was actually panicking and rushing to get back in the car at one point because I could sense things weren't going to end well. I'll be following the progress of this game. The developer clearly knows how to get people on edge and freak them out. Well worth the small price at the moment.
HOLD OFF BUYING THIS UNTIL THE STEERING IN CAR IS FIXED, USING TRACKPAD TO STEER IS REALLY BAD, ALMOST UNPLAYABLE, NOT ENJOYABLE. This game has great potential. The sense of being there is strong. The game has lots of bugs that perhaps could easily be fixed. Driving the car could be enjoyable, but instead it's a pain because you use the trackpad to steer and to also gas/brake.It would feel so natural to be able to hold the steering wheel, but unfortunately it's just for show for now. The driving would be fun if the developer implements actually using the steering wheel to steer and the trigger buttons to gas/brake. This is a work in progress, but this title is very interesting, and hope the developer makes the improvements. I would hold off on buying this right now until the steering, gas/brake issue is fixed and feels more natural. Great game if the developer doesn't abandon it and keeps improving on it.
This is my very first negative review for a VR game. After 2 months of radio silence from developer, I think it's pretty safe to say this project was abandoned. It's a shame as it shows promise, but it's pretty much broken and unplayable in its current state. I supported this early access title in hope it will evolve in something great... it most probably would, if dev would stick with it.
Cool idea....completely abandoned... =\
Its still really early, so there isnt a ton of stuff to do, but transitioning from driving to walking around the road was great! Dont get it just yet if your hoping for a full fleshed out game, but im really looking forward to see where this goes!
