Lost Planet™: Extreme Condition

Bought this version just to say I'm super disappointed that Capcom still hasn't fixed Colonies Edition or Lost Planet 2. It would be really awesome to not have to pirate bootleg versions and give my computer AIDS just to get a hit of nostalgia. If someone at Capcom sees this, please fix the games. Lost Planet was a huge part of my teenage years and I finally have a pc again and now I can't play two of my favorite games of all time. Pragmata is cool, I'll give you guys that. There's something special to be had in Lost Planet though. I know you guys are probably busy making more banger games, but give us old fudds the games that made our early years so great.

this is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ peak game, i remember playing this game with my dad when i was 6 years old, honestly i recommend lost planet to literally anyone, even tho this game is from '07 its still OG classic

I remember back in the days on Xbox 360 I would see many people on my friend's list I saw people playing Lost Planet. I never played it then, but I always wanted to and now I got my chance on PC. This was a nice throwback to simplistic and arcadish feel of story mode in older games. No complicated progression and leveling up system. No upgrading weapons or anything like that. You pick up guns as you go that glow so they're easy to find. The enemies either die with 1 headshot or if it's an alien they will have a glowing yellow/orange part of their body so you know exactly where the weak point is. Overall, the game feels like a game, if that makes sense, and I really enjoyed that. Of course this is a 2026 first time player's perspective. The missions are straightforward and fun to play through. Some levels become insanely easy as soon as you get a rifle because you just stand back and 1 shot everyone in the head without any effort. The most fun parts of the game for me were easily whenever you got to use some sort of robotic suit along with any of the bosses. The bosses were not immediately obvious at times, but I managed to quickly get the hang of it and I often just barely defeated them right before dying myself. However, the final boss was a major disappointment because I was able to just stand back and shoot them from a distance. The controls are clunky and I encountered many glitches with the enemies glitching through walls or getting stuck in ways they couldn't escape. I didn't mind it much. The story didn't capture my attention much at all. I tried to pay attention, but I didn't get wrapped up in it. It's very typical stuff like avenging your father and the main character having memory loss. I recommend this game to anyone that wants to play an old school third person shooter that has interested in sci-fi futuristic technology and concepts of aliens. Only buy it at 80% off or more!

Another "classic," another disappointment. It started out pretty fun for like the first two missions, then came the gimmicky missions with cheap insta-deaths that left me asking, "what the hell am I suppose to do?" 3/10 Avoid. Nostalgia will not hide this game's janky gameplay and bad gimmick levels.

Did not age well, however I got it for 4 bucks on sale, so I can't be mad. Its just a shame that this is the game that works, whilst the amazing sequal stays dead in abandonware...

Uno de los juego tan queridos de la xbox lo vuelvo adquirir y ahora lo podre terminar, ojala allá personas o grupos para el online del juego. postdata: aun no entiendo porque la loca tiene escote viviendo en una zona de -40°C xD
