A horror game about claustrophobia. During a storm your service dog is forced down a broken sewer drain. You find the nearest sewer entrance and run in after it. Along the way you will meet others that are also stricken by abnormal or psychological fear.

unforseen consequences
This game is confusing. I can describe the individual actions that I took to reach the credits, but in the end, I have no idea what any of it was supposed to mean or what happened- there's a section in the middle that's about eating disorders, but then that just stops and is never mentioned again? I think there was a baby, but it only showed up in one note and a quick "pick this thing up or don't" decision that didn't seem to have any consequences? There are these playable tapes like in Resident Evil 7, but they don't seem to connect to the story or have any significance? The game just sort of stopped with no particular resolution at the end, the exit is just there in a hallway? Honestly, everything I can say about Lost in Vivo ends with, "and then it just stopped." It feels like pieces of six or seven different indie horror games pasted together, and none of them is particularly interesting. There is, however, a dog.

roblox silent hill
very competent mostly linear survival horror lite narrative with some very tense and unnerving segments that force you to do things you really don't wanna do to progress. some pretty good meta/fourth wall breaking horror too. the imagery is very striking, ps1 style gritty body horror and guts and filth. some cool extras and secrets, plus a whole secret ending that you can almost get by accident which i thought was pretty cool.
Lost in Vivo a therapeutic journey of overcoming your fears and growing as a person.
Lost in Vivo is, in my opinion, a flawed masterpiece. It knows what it wants to be and does a lot of things right. The narrative surrounding trauma and fear is delivered exceptionally well, especially at the beginning. The fears, trauma, anxiety, and depression the game portrays are handled so well that you slowly start feeling insecure yourself and really feel the codependency your character has developed with his service dog. The same goes for the game design and ideas. You can really tell that KIRA knows how to make a horror game and has ideas that are not just creative but simply work, such as mandatory deaths that leave you surprised at just how creative the idea behind them is. The same goes for the monster design. KIRA is a master at designing monsters. You have to look no further than his other game, Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion, in which every specimen is designed so well that they define the identity of the game. That is reflected here as well. Combined with the deep psychological narrative, it creates something amazing. But sadly, it's not perfect, and honestly not even close to perfect. The game loses itself more and more as it goes on. The ideas become less creative, the story starts to drag on and isn't delivered with the same ambition and creativity it had at the start, and it ends rather abruptly. It just feels rushed, which breaks my heart. If the game had kept the same energy it had during the first half, it would have been a genre-defining masterpiece. But sadly, its flaws drag it down from perfection to simply being good.
Silent Hill 3 with dog. Jokes aside the game's pretty decent, but I think the thing that's the most special about this game is actually it's side/secret content. I have yet to try it all out but Dark Mode was absolutely a wonderful experience and I'm planning to try out Midnight Mode and the Mersus tapes as well.
I haven't finished it yet as I'm a super slow gamer. But it's good, I think if you enjoy psychological horror you'll enjoy the game. A lot of the themes are on the nose (eating disorders, sense of self distortion, etc). But they do a good job of portraying them - I've struggled a lot of with disordered eating and many of the other things brought up, and I think that if you also struggle with those things it'll hit close to home in many ways - Bonus points the dog is also super cutie. I do think it should be bought on sale, as some elements are unpolished! Otherwise lovely game, great OST.
Not fully polished, unfinished pile of concepts. Overall, ugly and boring. *Lunacid is much better, btw!
dont even joke lad
