Lost in Random™

Все началось с того что я начал играть в "Lost in Random: The Eternal Die" и понял что там есть отголоски к этой игре, посмотрев в рунете пара обзоров на игру, коротко говорят сюжет не очень, но скажу так отталкиваться от чужих мнений не стал, да и в принципе если вижу у игры отрицательную оценку это меня ни как не останавливает. Эта игра не стала исключением, с ней были двоякие ощущения. Игра мне очень понравилась, система боевки необычная но уж очень мне зашла. Сюжет здесь не сказать чтобы ВАУ, но все же имеет место быть, самое главное не забывать что это что то из разряда вселенной Тима Бёртона, мне ну уж очень понравилась эта игра. Меня это игра затянула с головой. Единственное что не хватает этой игре лично для меня, это полноценной русской озвучки, было бы круто. По скидке рекомендую 8/10.

great game and story, well recommended

I swear this is the buggiest game I have played in YEARS. Half my time in this game is waiting on the EA launcher. The other half is playing the same sections over and over because this game has gamebreaking bugs present in the core mechanics, so they can appear at any moment and make it an instant loss for any fight in the game. There's an unexpected part in the story that would have been kinda funny and pretty cool except I got the achievement for it BEFORE it happened so it completely ruined the surprise and the impact of the moment. I highly recommend, if you have any interest in this game whatsoever, you go play Lost In Random: The Eternal Die. It's cheaper AND better.

A wonderful adventure.

A wonderfully refreshing game, filled with clever writing, fantastic voice acting, fun characters, STUNNINGLY beautiful animation and art direction, and a unique combat design using cards and dice-roles that blend action with strategy. This game reminds me a lot of Alice Madness Returns and Epic Mickey, in the best ways.

This game isn’t for everyone, but I enjoyed it a lot. The main draw of this game is, of course, the Tim Burton-esque claymation artstyle. I wish everything in my life had this artstyle. The creators went on to make The Midnight Walk, which is just as gorgeous. Underneath the beautiful artstyle is a very compelling story. This is mostly a story game with some combat encounters in it. The first hour of the game is quite slow and you don’t really get a good feel for the combat until quite a while into it. The combat system is a mix between real-time combat, deck building, and dice rolling. It’s a unique system, but in its current state would get very boring if the game lasted any longer than it does. The game is the perfect length in this regard. A positive about this game that’s special to me is that it scratches a very specific itch that I get sometimes that has to do with very linear level progression. Your character literally moves through sequentially number-themed levels (Onecroft, Two-Town, Threedom), all the way up six at the end of the game. Your character also gets literal number-themed upgrades to match the number of the area you’re in. It just feels good At the end of the day, what makes this game worth your time is that it’s full of soul and, if was a movie instead of a game, would be on par with movies like Coraline and Corpse Bride. 100% Achievement Completion Perspective: Most achievements are missable. If you don’t follow a guide, you’re likely to miss quite a few in the late game and if you miss them, you can only get those if you restart the whole game. The game is short, but the gameplay loop isn’t compelling enough for me to enjoy a second playthrough, so I had to be careful I wasn’t missing anything. Not a particularly fun one to 100%.
