Looks like the last working driver for this game is AMD Radeon Software 24.5.1, newer than that this game won't work or black screen. Definitely not recommended if you plan to play new games, you will always need to be stuck to older AMD drivers.
Lost Dimension is a game you absolutely should not buy the PC port of. This game was originally on the PS3 and PS Vita, and released in 2013. You can pick up a copy of the PS3 or Vita version for almost nothing - not that I'd necessarily recommend that given the game was apparently localized by NISA, infamous for their garbage "translations" and ruining everything they touch. Like the PS3 and Vita versions, the PC port does not contain the original Japanese dub. The English voiceactors are awful and were clearly done with NISA's usual budget of pocket change. Both the PS3 and Vita versions of the game have fan-made undubs readily accessible, which the PC does not have (the porting company apparently didn't have access to the Japanese audio). The game was originally meant for a controller, and the controls do not at all translate well to PC - no surprise given that a lot of lower-budget Japanese games from that era had bad ports. Steam Input can partially fix this but turns it into a confusing mess since the game doesn't have the proper glyphs. If you really want to play this game, I'd recommend finding a used PS3 and playing the undub. Don't buy this port.
Steam’in tozlu köşelerinde bulduğum altın
Port job is kinda poo, there is no option for Japanese voices; they have to be modded in, and the gameplay gets pretty stale pretty quick. That being said... I enjoyed my time with the game. The precog mechanic with traitors is pretty interesting and it carried me to the end of the game. That being said, after I beat the game, it told me to basically play it again to get the other characters afinitiy routes. That way I can get the true ending. Nah, One playthrough was enough for me, I'm out. I am giving this a positive recommendation because, deep down, it does have interesting mechanics, and you can tell the people who made it were passionate about it. That being said, I would recommend a 75% off sale for this game.
Physically unplayable as all 3d models are completely invisible. This bug was discovered in 2022 and the devs have made absolutely no response to it. Bought this during the summer sale after wanting it for years and I'm incredibly disappointed. Will not play this game unless this extremely crucial bug is fixed.
Lost Dimension is a fun JRPG, nothing ground-breaking but the concept of the story is intriguing and the gameplay is satisfying as far as a tactical turn-based game goes. Without spoiling the story, watch the trailers and see if it's something that catches your attention. There is a bit more depth to the lore, but this requires finding all the collectible "tips" files and completing the game twice. You cannot see the whole story until you are on NG+. The game is not too long so this requirement does not overstay it's welcome. By far the coolest part of the game is the traitor system and the little bit of "rogue-lite" salt that's sprinkled in there with the traitors being randomized every playthrough. Experienced a few crashes, but nothing extreme. Game runs on Steam Deck but you have to do some tweaking, check the community posts for details found here: (https://steamcommunity.com/app/626600/discussions/0/3463857594049424643). Definitely a solid game.
If you like japanese games, tactics and deduction, this is definitely for you. Pros : - a great, yet short, RPG where the story progresses with the gradual loss of your teammates (original, isn't it ?) ; - even if not a great fan of tactics games, you can handle this quite easily - the game is nice to play once you've understood its mechanics, not too difficult to understand ; - if you like dialogues and satisfying storyline, you will be satisfied ; - not time-limited : you can always replay missions without penalties. Cons : - traitors (namely : teammates you will lose) are randomly decided. So, you will likely be disappointed if a character you really like has to be disposed of (or else !) ; this can also lead to more or less satisfying skill combinations when you'll reclaim their skills (when you eliminate traitors, you can still use some of their skills). You will get over this as this is part of the gameplay, though ; - if you don't correctly guess which of your teammates are the traitors... well, you're probably doomed, and too many mistakes can lead you to an unfortunate end. Now deal with this (bitter ?) End !
There’s definitely the foundation for a great game here, but sadly it falls short. Maybe the biggest issue is that it was originally built for the PS Vita — that “portable” design just holds it back, keeping it from ever feeling as big and immersive as it should.
A very unique hidden gem RPG, uses turn based TACTICS and unit positioning as a combat system instead of the ol "MASH A" system. So battles actually require thought and strategy. It also has a very interesting story. Yeah the usual, the BBEG is destroying the world. BUT out of the 11 heroes (thats enough for a soccer team!) ONE is a traitor.
Models refuse to load in and there is no known solution to this problem. In its current state the game is unplayable which is pretty unfortunate :c
