After the Soul Stone was stolen during an auction at the National Museum, Claire and her loyal helpers witnessed the resurgence of the Terracotta Army and its Emperor. The Emperor wants to conquer the world by raising a dragon from the crater of a volcano, but our heroes have other ideas. (Developer) At least in theory, that is the content of the game. However, this game produces a black screen immediately after starting and it stays that way. I find it a disgrace that it is still on sale even though it has been this way for a long time. Steam should just kick out games like this because in my opinion it's already cheating. !!! Nachdem der Seelenstein während einer Auktion im Nationalmuseum gestohlen wurde, erlebten Claire und ihre treuen Helfer das Wiederaufleben der Terrakotta-Armee und ihres Kaisers. Der Kaiser möchte die Welt erobern, indem er einen Drachen aus dem Krater eines Vulkans erweckt, aber unsere Helden haben andere Ideen. (Entwickler) Das ist zumindest theoretisch der Inhalt des Spiels. Dieses Spiel produziert jedoch gleich nach dem Start ein schwarzen Bildschirm und so bleibt es dann auch. Das es noch immer im Verkauf ist, obwohl dieser Zustand schon lange so ist, empfinde ich als Frechheit. Steam sollte solche Games einfach Rausschmeißen, da es meiner Ansicht nach schon Betrug ist. !!! Update 2/23/19 - See comments below the review. Short version, achievements are still broken. I appreciate the developer responding, but they haven't fixed the issue yet so I still can't recommend the game. Please, just put the bonus levels in. Maybe that will fix the problem. BTW, I play off line so actual playtime isn't recorded. I really have played the game through twice and played the last level more times than I want to count. Do NOT buy this game if you want to get all the achievements. When they put the game on Steam, they stripped out the bonus levels. I don't like that, but I can live with that. What I can't live with is they broke the achievements when they stripped the bonus levels. You can't get the last three achievements for defeating the emperor, getting gold on all levels, and getting all the other achievements. I would hope the developers would fix the game, but no one must be looking at the discussions since I'm the second person to post about the achievements not working. I love 8Floor game, but I can't recommend this one.

Wirklich nett. Auch wieder eine schöne Spieleserie. Macht richtig Spaß und ist wie Gnomes. Dieses Spiel ist zwar etwas älter, funktioniert aber entgegen anderer Meinungen tadellos auf meinen getesteten Systemen. Vor Jahren gespielt, heute nochmal neu installiert und geprüft. Geht mit Win 10 und 11, mit NVidia 1080 und AMD RX6700XT, mit AMD 3700XT und 5800X3D. Heute ploppten sogar die 3 fehlenden Steam Errungenschaften auf, die damals nicht funktioniert hatten. Also danke für die negativen Reviews, die mich zu diesem Schritt bewegt haben. :-) Da Probleme mit schwarzen Bildschirmen auch immer wieder mal bei anderen Spielen gemeldet werden, sollten die Leute mal ihre Treiber und Windows-Funktionen näher in Augenschein nehmen, denn ein Spiel ist nicht unbedingt immer schuld daran, wenn etwas nicht gleich geht. Dennoch verstehe ich den Ärger darüber schon, weil ich das auch schon mehrmals hatte - und nach einem Jahr gehts dann plötzlich warum auch immer. Also nehmt die Spiele in die Favoritenliste und versucht es ab und an mal wieder, vor allem nach Hardwaretausch oder diversen Treiber und Softwareupdates. DX-Updates, C++ 2008 bis 23, .Net2 bis 4.8 sollten auch installiert sein (muss man bei Windows sogar teilweise manuell nachinstallieren!). Wer weiß, welche Dx Version das ist, kann sogar mit einem Wrapper wie DXVK das versuchen, halt so wie bei Linux. Deinstallieren, neu installieren, Daten checken, es gibt viele Sachen zum Ausprobieren. Entweder es läuft dann irgendwann, oder man hat Pech. Vor allem muss man auch mal neu starten, damit Treibersachen etc. wirklich resettet und neu geladen werden müssen, das wird beim herumprobieren meistens nicht gemacht. Den Kompatibilitätsmodus auf der EXE Datei brauchte ich auch nicht, kann man unter Windows aber auch ausprobieren. Wer ganz beharrlich und experimentierfreudig ist, der versucht es stumpf mit einem anderen Betriebssystem als Zweitinstallation. Kann ein anderes Windows, oder aber Linux sein. Versucht euer Glück und viel Erfolg. Bei Bedarf können Steam Freunde mich anschreiben. Ich bleibe also bei meinem Fazit: kaufen, kaufen, kaufen (wartet aber wie immer auf einen Sale) :-) (UPDATED)

Can't play, screen black, dev knows but no support so just a money grab. stay away, even at 90% it's still not worth it if you can't play. Check forums, many complain of same issue.

Lost Artifacts: Soulstone is a mobile app that's been dumped on Steam as if it was a real PC game (it's not)... it's a cash grab from greedy mobile devs. This mobile app is a pointless "12 Labours of Hercules" screen tapper/clicker mobile app. There's no gameplay, just tapping on the screen. The mobile app is made to look like you're making interesting decisions as you're presented with a map of a town/village/pathway that has you clicking on various things to collect things which are then consumed when you click on an obstacle, which unlocks more things to click on. This is so lame and shallow, you could write a script to randomly click the screen and given enough time, it would beat the game. The shady developer behind this valueless shovelware has proven to be a persistent nuisance abusing Steam Direct... they've dumped over a hundred valueless mobile app tier asset flips onto Steam, many featuring plagiarised/stolen stock art and other unethical, shady behaviours. 8Floor has copy + pasted this particular game, with minor reskins, an insane THIRTY TWO TIMES onto Steam... why cash in on one asset if you can cash in on multiple copies of the same game? This valueless copy + paste garbage is taking up marketing space for genuine indie developers who are doing the right thing. It's harmful to the industry and to gamers. From a technical perspective, as a mobile app, this doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no options to change the resolution for the mobile app or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this mobile app is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this mobile app will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality mobile phone graphics. The mobile app only displays in mobile phone style ultra-pillarboxed aspect ratio unless you switch to Windowed mode. While it's possible this could be due to hamfisted attempts from the developer to tell me without any doubt that he knows the native resolution of my monitor better than I do (he is wrong), this is just one of many indications this was developed to be a mobile app and not a serious PC game. It's not acceptable for developers to dump garbage like this on Steam when it's not even formatted or designed to run properly on modern PC gaming displays, to the point that this could be considered insulting. The mobile app features simple, cartoony 2D graphics, of the type you normally expect to see in low effort mobile apps. 3D graphics programming does require a degree of skill and competence and unfortunately not all developers have the budget or talent to deliver this, despite 3D graphics cards hitting the mainstream in the 1990's. Considering this is being evaluated as a PC game, having the graphics phoned in like this isn't going to result in a high quality, visually impressive game that PC gamers are used to seeing. The controls can't be customised because the game has such a dumbed down, simplified interface that it's just iPhone screen tapping stuff. The fact that the interface is this dumbed down might be seen as a problem in itself, however... this is a fairly shallow experience if you're the kind of gamer that likes to play games with deep, rich control schemes and interaction. You'll get none of that here. Because this is a mobile app, it carries a number of deliberate design deficiencies. Compromises were made to cater to the iPhones that the mobile app was designed for. These are unfortunate handicaps and limitations that PC gamers shouldn't be forced to accept, but it's evident that PC was an afterthought for the iPhone developers who are to blame for this. The mobile app is deficient as a result of these choices, and would have been so much better without the handicaps that designing games for mobile phones forces upon a game. Once more, mobile devs have made gaming worse for everyone. I didn't spend thousands on building a gaming rig just so I could pretend it's an iPhone. These technical defects push this mobile app below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this mobile app is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 8 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from (over 9,000 completely free titles), the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality mobile app is to be expected. Once more we see greedy mobile devs trying to scam PC gamers. On Steam, this is $5 USD, on the Play Store, it's free. Mobile devs must learn PC gamers are not here to be gouged, and can't be expected to pay FIVE BUCKS FOR A FREE MOBILE APP just because it's been lazily dumped on Steam. This is unacceptable disrespect for PC gamers. Because this can be played free elsewhere, and because of the other defects, it's impossible to recommend. Who do they think we are?

Leider habe ich nur einen schwarzen Bildschirm wenn ich versuche das Game zu starten. :< Ich hab schon meine FL gefragt ob wer eine Lösung hat, in der Community nachgelesen, neuinstalliert und auf Fehler überprüfen lassen... aber Erfolglos. Ich bin relativ zufrieden das ich es im Sale gekauft habe und noch Glücklicher darüber das es der letzte Teil ist, den ich noch spielen "muss". Alle anderen Teile der Lost Artifacts Reihe haben bei mir funktioniert. Ich werde dieses Spiel erstmal negativ bewerten und ab und zu ein Auge drauf werfen, ob der Bug gefixxt wurde. Ich hoffe das dies bald passiert~

Spent 1.3 hours just trying to get the game to open. I love these games but this one is dead.

Новой версии "Lost Artifacts" кроме изменившихся скинов похвастаться нечем. Это единственное разнообразие, в сравнении с предыдущими редакциями, не успевает надоесть, так как игрушка короткая. Сюжет как обычно заменяет набор ярких картинок. Игра посредственная.
