Un STR déroutant avec une proposition singulière : on ne contrôle que le héros principal, et c'est par son intermédiaire que l'on commande son armée et que l'on construit sa base. Gamepad obligatoire. Les commandes sont simples. Les 5 premières minutes sont difficiles (il faut désapprendre tout ce que l'on fait d'habitude sur des STR communs), mais une fois le principe acquis, ça se joue bien. Ce gameplay atypique encourage à développer des tactiques innovantes pour déborder ou surprendre l'ennemi. Il faut aussi beaucoup plus anticiper les mouvements de l'ennemi puisque si votre héros est loin d'un combat, vous ne pourrez pas le gérer correctement. La campagne propose de nombreuses missions avec plusieurs factions et plusieurs héros qui évoluent au fur et à mesure, jusqu'à devenir très puissants et surtout très rapides dans leurs déplacements. Si au départ on est réduit à courir, on acquiert à la fin des dashs qui permettent de rapidement transiter aux quatre coins du champ de bataille, ce qui n'est pas un luxe vu la difficulté parfois élevée. Les commandes réagissent bien et dans l'ensemble les troupes répondent correctement aux ordres donnés. Ne comptez pas sur de la grande stratégie ni des tactiques trop élaborées ; l'armée n'est globalement qu'un gros pack mal rangé. On ne donne que des ordres simples comme "avancer", "attaquer" ou "pas bouger". Il faut principalement réfléchir à la composition des troupes et à leur bon positionnement sur le terrain. Ce n'est pas compliqué, mais il y a suffisamment de subtilités et d'astuces à découvrir pour s'amuser. Le jeu est fluide et agréable. Très propre. Pas de bug. En revanche, il y a parfois des crashs ; heureusement on peut sauvegarder comme on veut. Un réel effort à été fourni sur l'histoire et l'écriture. Les musiques soutiennent agréablement l'action. Une petite pépite qui gagne à être découverte.

Although, at first, I was a bit surprised to find I had to sort of ‘drag and drop’ the units where I wanted them to go (by controlling the main character and ordering the units to follow him), it turned out to be surprisingly addictive. I quite liked the story, [spoiler]especially the scenes that depict the main character’s 'daily life' with his wife and twin daughters, which made it easier to put myself in the main character's shoes[/spoiler]. The art direction of the 2D cutscenes played a big part in this. To all you achievement hunters out there, I really enjoyed completing this game 100%. [h3]Support for mouse & keyboard had already been added before I wrote my review.[/h3] I’ve played this game using both mouse & keyboard and a controller.

a fun little strategy / arpg game best played on a controller

Tolles RTS was eine Art Mix aus RTS und MOBA darstellt. Sehr interessante Story, aber leider ein offenes Ende, was auf einen zweiten Teil oder ein DLC hindeutet.

Beklentilerim yerle bir oldu. -Oyun sadece kontrolcüyle oynanıyor, -Gruplar halinde tekrar tekrar asker toplayıp düz bir noktada savaşsınlar diye bırakıyoruz saldırı alanını seçemediğimizden gereksiz zaman kaybediyoruz. Bunlardan sonrasına dayanamayıp hızla oyunu bıraktım.
