This was a very immersive horror experience. 10/10
I really struggled to get through this game. Very terrifying. Totally recommend, would not play again.
Excellent game, heavy Silenthill vibes. Its a small indie horror game done to damn near perfection. Highly recommended.
Great game :)
This game is like a throwback to my younger years when I was playing on the PS1. The tension building is great and the sound design is really well done (self high five). I've only just finished the first level, but I'm excited for what's to come!
Really liked the game, IMO stamina could use some touching up in stages where you're not meant to run away from monsters or dangers, though I'm no game designer and all of this is just a personal thought. I liked that ending bit with the
CMD stuff, pls don't mine crypto on my set up now :)
Not typically a pros-cons list maker but this game warrants one because I recommend it, but with caveats Pros: -Unsettling atmosphere -Nails retrofuturism vibe -Enough changes of pace to keep the player on edge and to let gameplay take different turns -Very polished in a lot of ways including replication of visual glitches aesthetically, well-made NeuralNet videos, and good asset usage -Rewarding watching your stamina go up with each mini-game victory -Good scares, not over-reliant on jumpscares -Extras at the end of the game exploring creative process Cons -Stamina recharges too slow, is missable for those who don't backtrack, and ultimately doesn't help with gameplay other than one puzzle and one escape sequence. Maybe it's just the typical 2 hr gameplay trap idk -Way too dark -Related to the point above you introduce several devices that get taken away almost as quickly as you get them -Hard to believe that after all the concepts you toyed with you landed on the big bad just being
a MMAN with four eyes
who looks like a skibidi toilet character Neutral: -If I had a nickel for every game that simulates being on a desktop and forces you to open CMD I'd have a handful of damn nickels
Love the concept, the vibe is great. If you like indie horror - buy it right now! BUT- some aspects I thought could've been executed better I understand the kick of this game was meant to be the disorienting feeling. However, I find it got too much, too many labirinths with too little light. Because of this, some parts were nearly unplayable and I ended up missing some of the content because of that. The implication of the "glitches" that the player will encounter at the end were building up, so suppose I should've been ready for it. But it felt really streched out. The story was confusing. At first it's an apocaliptic 80s tech nightmare, but then some personal life stuff with the dunk father and the phone? There wasn't enough story to fully get invested and too much running around in the dark solving puzzles. But I still had fun and this is much better then most of the indie horror games out there! I would even like a part two, perhaps a prelude? I'm not sure, but the concept is immaculate, thank you!
Very cool good gaem
