Live Checkpoint is a 2D side scrolling retro pixel wave survival shooter. Protect the little hut in the middle of the screen as baddies trickle in from the left and right. They drop coins which you can use to buy health restore, ammo, and weapon upgrades. The game works okay in fullscreen and with mouse and keyboard controls. Retro pixel graphics are lazy and make the game look bad. The game might be worth something if they had hired an artist. Resolution and controls are fixed and can't be changed, which makes the game fall below minimum standards for PC.

The music is nice. Gameplay is dull and uninspired, and it simply takes far too long to earn enough cash to start unlocking new weapons.
