Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.33/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I had fun with the game until the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ninja chapter. Truly destroyed me. Otherwise pretty good
Nice array of different stories & character arcs to experience, which culminate to a very memorable finale. Solid voice performances, pleasant soundtrack, and beautiful pixel art style. I will say that combat is pretty easy for the most part, which in turn can make the game feel slow/boring at times. And some of the dungeons could also get very confusing to navigate. But overall, was cool playing through and exploring each time period. Enjoyed certain ones more than others (Distant Future was my fav, followed shortly by Edo Japan), but no doubt each were unique in their own way.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 31: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

6/10 - A very unique JRPG, to say the least. But not really for me - I'm a fan of large overarching stories, and this felt more like different mini games. A lot of cool ideas, but I don't think it excels in anything.
It blows my mind LIVE A LIVE is originally from 1994. It often subverts expectations in ways I wouldn't expect from games in this era. This game is ambitious, delightfully weird, and was ahead of its time in terms of storytelling. You can definitely see the influence this game had on games like Undertale and Octopath Traveler (and many others honestly).
Yeah, this is incredibly good. Have to leave this here after finishing it. Best to play it without knowing anything about it. Can't believe that it was made 30 years ago and it's a shame that it was not commercially successful as the main director's other game (Final Fantasy IV) at that time. Would have really made the whole RPG scene a lot more different over the last 30 years. For the better of course, much as I like FFIV, But.... play it to see what crazy goodness we could have had.
LIVE A LIVE is a textbook definition of pure, unadulterated boredom—this game should honestly be medically certified as a cure for chronic insomnia. While the concept of jumping between short stories across different eras sounds promising on paper, the execution is an absolute disaster of stagnation and monotony. The pacing is dead on arrival, the dialogue is sterile and drags on forever, and the combat loop is so completely devoid of life, excitement, or impact that it can't even generate enough engagement to keep you awake. Instead of delivering a unique RPG experience, it feels like a bleak, tedious chore designed to force your eyes shut within the first hour. If you respect your time and want a game that actually stimulates your brain and keeps you hooked, stay as far away from this glorified sleeping pill as possible.
Worth full price, a great deal on sale. Easily recommended for fans of turn-based RPGs and tactics games, and a good story. Truly a master class in music, artwork, and storytelling. A range of self-contained stories across many time periods, all with their unique spins on the mechanics - there really is something for everyone.
Not at all what I was expecting - maybe chose the wrong chapter to start with as it felt very slow in the beginning. Once I did push through a little and started doing more chapters, I felt way more engaged and loved the tone that was set. Emotions aside, great 2D-3D remake with nice surprises and (of course) amazing soundtrack!
