Little Witch in the Woods

Lovely game, with charismatic characters, nice music, cute pixel-art and overall art-style, progression isn't grindy, the house customization is good, the crafting system is pretty fun and colleting (which can be a chore in many games) is actually quite fun too.

A very cozy game with material gathering and potion/candy making as the main gameplay, showing the player what it would be like to be an apprentice witch. It's perfect for winding down, especially for those who like witches and magic — [b]and cats[/b]! The cute art style was what caught my interest in the first place, but it shifted to wanting to know and understand the characters' stories. The dialogue may feel light-hearted and slow/dragging at times, but it also touches on heavy topics later on that do not feel too out of place. This game also managed to make me [i]want[/i] to get everything in the journal to the highest rating to see the satisfying stamp of approval on every page. It will take a lot of time, but the cozy vibe is enough to dismiss any feelings of weariness.

I've put on 4hrs just on the very first run! It's sooo cute and soo unique and it controls very well! I love that it is not your typical Stardew clone and the background story!
